Yesterday we flew from Shanghai to Guangzho. Before we left we got this photo of the kids with Sophie, our awesome guide and translator.
Beckett did really well on the flight and even sat in his own seat most of the time. The only casualties were a sky mall magazine that got ripped into many pieces because that is BIG fun, and our umbrella stroller which came back to us in 3 pieces. Not a horrible loss since we have two better strollers at home. Also the hotel here in Guangzho will lend us one during our stay. The harder part will be the airports on the way home. I did bring my baby wrap so at least I might get some relief, but Beckett's favorite phrase is "Mama ba" which is basically "Mama up."
We went to the medical clinic this morning for his physical exam an TB test. They do a blood test now rather than skin test so we have the next two days free for sightseeing.
There are a lot of American families adopting at the hotel this week, from ages 8 months to 8 years. Only one one other family from our agency that is adopting an 8 year old girl with CP. We will be hanging with them a lot the next few days. If we have time later tonight I will move pictures from the camera and Ben's phone to the tablet so I can post more. Right now I am only posting photos from my phone.
