Lately I've been ...

Did I tell you I had elbow replacement surgery in March ...

here we are a month after surgery ...
X Rays in the background ...
= this has been life changing.

Recuperation was working beautifully ...

till I tripped over on May 2 ...
and fractured my shoulder.

The friend with me said I did the best forward role ever ...

 AND saved any damage to my beloved elbow.

Unknowingly I carried the fracture round all day ...
thinking it was bruising ... 

 

whilst dressed as an Edwardian dowager ...
at a local commemorative ANZAC Centenary event.
 

Arm has been in a sling since ...
recently have been dabbling with ...

Rug Twisting ...

           created using fabric scraps ...

     

                 into necklaces that will be embellished from the stash ...

                                  plus have re discovered my favourite Ozecraft Dyes ...

                       AND ...

             

also creating Paper Clip Beads using the inside of envelopes ...

in readiness for an extravaganza later in the year with ...

Still very much loving life ...

Colouring in on fabric ...

Found this upholstery sample and took to it with fabric markers ...

 

the dark brown areas are on the fabric.

Second colouring in on plain calico is a free hand design drawn by Moi ...

 

 

not as happy with this result = too fiddly, too lairy ...

Walking with purpose is fantastic ...

prior to this stint I only walked when necessary.

Now am loving my daily meander, amble, stroll ...

drew the raffle to win this gorgeous wall hanging  ...
and out of all the tickets sold ...
I WON ...

am still flummoxed!

 

The wall hanging will be returning to IWWS Inc. ...

to be kept for posterity to be used as a promotional work.

The wall hanging was a group project where a number of women ...

individually stitched / embellished a crazy quilt block.  

 

The gorgeous work demonstrates ...

the dedication & talents of 2014 IWWS Inc. women ...

that will be proudly displayed for many years to come.  

 

Golly I'm so grateful, so blessed.
