"Inspired" fitted felt

I have been thinking about a new workshop in garment making. 

I have thought that felt jackets often look baggy around the arm. 

So now I have found a way to make fitted felt. 

This one was inspired by "Game of Thrones".  Many hours of rivetting fun.

Western Australia

I have a few openings left in my workshops in Western Australia. If you are able I would love you to Join me. The Freedom Construction workshop will include Natural Dye and Print and is really the way I love to finish off this workshop. It is like having 2 workshops in one. The excitement of opening a package is always great but to open it with others is special.

The Textures and Dimension course is fast becoming one of my favourite to teach. It is jam packed with technique and widens the possibilities of felt making.

Sheepshape

Here are some of the items I have made for the Sheepshape exhibition at Craft NSW. It begins tomorrow so if you are in town come along and see the most wonderful array of all things sheepish.

Here are 2 of the new techniques I have developed and have been teaching in Europe. The "twistie" and the "splash".

Hello again for 2014. This is shaping up to be a hectic and fast moving year for me with lots of travel and work on. I have developed a new workshop for my European tour this year and here are some of the pics. I will be teaching this in Denmark and in Holland.
