Real Estate “Days” [album stream]

I just got my hands on Real Estate’s sophomore album, “Days.”  The 10-track album has a washed-out, lazy-day-at-the-beach vibe, which is definitely a good thing, if you asked me. Oh, how I adore this track. Summer Fiction have released a new single, “Tell Me Once, Tell Me Twice,”  for free download at their Bandcamp page.  The track has a 70s piano-driven pop sound that is simple endearing! The perfect little summer pop gem.

Rostam (Vampire Weekend) “Wood”

Rostam Batmanglij – producer and multi-intstrumentalist for pop perfectionists Vampire Weekend, and experimental electro-pop duo Discovery – has just shared a solo track called “Wood”. No idea if Rostam plans on further exploring what he’s presented with “Wood”, but I sure hope to god he does! You can tell straight away that the track draws inspiration from Asia instead of Africa / Paul Simon, as most other Vampire Weekend songs do. Listen below:

Oh how excited it makes me to hear that Fool’s Gold mastermind, A-Trak, has remixed The Rapture’s track, “How Deep is Your Love”.  A-Track has made the dancy track even more clubbier- you will love!

Texture Like Sun “Bottle”

l simple cannot get enough of this track!  ‘Bottle’ is the first track from the forthcoming record (2012 sometime) from Australian artist Texture Like Sun. The track is so hauntingly beautiful and chilling…you are bound to love it.
