I had a wonderful Christmas with my family, a little of everything, love, sadness, thanks, awwww, excitment, good food, great gifts, and general warmth and love for all......I am blessed to have such a wonderful and caring family....

Coming Home to a Yarn Puzzle

This is what I came home to today after visiting my Mom-n-law .....

Chloee wrapped it around the kitchen table several times then again into the living room and around through the other doorway and back again over to the TV....I wish I had a nanny cam to see how this actually happened???? Hmmmmmm....tooo funny...I think she had her Christmas fun....

My Wonderful Christmas Gifts

Wow December 1 is here, the rush is on to get those gifts!!! But don't we already have everything we always wanted? I mean ...I do...let me count the gifts...   

1. A loving family...I am blessed with 2 wonderful children that have grown up to be good and moral God loving adults, with 3 beautiful g-kids that I so adore and they are all near and good to me in so many ways along with the important ideals of support and love...I also have my sister and her family and my cousins in MO that always stay close and call and visit us often....

1. So many wonderful memories of past holidays and everyday occurrances with all my family and some of the funniest moments that still make me laugh when I look back and ponder my past...
2. I have more than one BFF and that is a blessing in itself, to know I have friends I can count on and turn to for a listening ear and just to have a cup of tea with!!


3. A beautiful home, where my DH and I reside with warmth, good health, and love inside everyday of our lives
4.  A very loving and supportive DH that lets me be me, even when I get cranky or "naggy" he is still there for me
5. enough food and clothing to keep our tummys filled and warm...


6. God looking over me and my family and friends...
7. Lots of wonderful online friends that I so look forward to hearing from and reading their blogs These are some of the most wonderful gifts anyone could ask for and not only am I blessed to have them in my life, but I also am happy and look forward to tomorrow to gain more wonderful loving memories to add to my list!!!!

Saturday Putting up the Tree Day

Thanks giving is over and I hope everyone had a wonderful day. I sure did the kiddos where over, but I made the mistake of letting them play in my office and I am still trying to find some of my things... Kids....they love to get into things, and g-ma sure has a lot to get into!!!! lol...

I am trying to put up our tree but it is a 3 day job since I have so many decorations, and then the tree decded to not light up all over. :( Remember when all tree lights were on strings, now a days that is unheard of. Well it looks like we will have both this year since half of the lights do not want to work????

One thing that was so cute this year with my g-kis on Thanksgiving, back to my original talk on this post, I am skipping around here, was that my older -daughter made up these turkey placemats for everyone. She drew handprint turkeys on construction paper and then made a little joke on each one with the answer on the side. So everyone had to read theirs. As you can see my son is reading his...they were really cute jokes like..."why can't leopards hide?" because they are always spotted...lol....and "What kind of bottle cries?" a wine bottle...lol....they were cute and everyone enjoyed reading theirs aloud...hurray for Amanda... As you see she and the little one are funning with g-pa.... :) Family is where it is all at!!!!

I tried some new great recipes... one was Sweet potato bake and the other wa a broccoli bake and the other was a baked pumpkin!!! All 3 were winners...

I even made a pie pumpkin filled with dressing it was yummy!!!
