Around December time 2006, I had my international passport stamped for the first time to Phuket. This year I had my second trip to the same country; Trang and Krabi. I travelled with a bunch of fun people in mini couch which made our transportation more convenient and we can move in high speed from one place to another. The average speed our driver mantained was around 120km/hour. That was how we survive the super-packed trip in 4 days and 3 night. I will cover some of the interesting places in different entries later on.

Me posing in front of the silver mini couch bearing Thai registration number. We departed from Penang very early in the morning before the rubber tapper starts their work, about 3am. When this picture was taken, we already passed Thai border, stopping for toilet break.

We arrived at the first destination after six hours. I was about to go for the boat ride in the biggest lotus lake in the world and feel so excited.

All prepared ready for the lotus lake boat ride. It took us about one hour to come back to the same spot.

We spotted a bunch of monkeys on another boat surrounded by the lotus plants in the lake.

Lotus.. lotus.. and lotus...

They were many different colours of the lotus petals. A closer look on the pink one.

Pretty flower and the seeds. I finished eating them in hotel room afterwards

After about 40 minutes ride, we started to smell something pungent. Shit. There far away we saw a herd of buffaloes. The water is very shallow and the buffaloes were seen walking around the area.

There was one pinky buffaloes which caught my attention. It wasn't so pleasant to see us or it always look that unpleasant? I don't know.

Our two nights were in Trang. Wattana Park hotel. They retrieved the hairdryer I requested during the housekeeping. It was a bit difficult to communicate to the staff there because they did not understand english well. I called the front desk:
Receptionist : Halo
Me : Hi, I would like to ask if the hotel provide a hair dryer?
Receptionist : hair lier? Wait.. (she went to find another staff)
Receptionist2 : Hi, how may i hel you?
Me : I want a Hair D-R-Y-E-R. Blow hair.
Receptionist2 : oh ok. (after 5 minutes she came to my room and gave me a shower cap. After showing her in action how I blow hair, she finally understood what I want)
Overall Thai people are very friendly and they smile a lot. :)

After checking in to the hotel, we visited Le Khakob Cave. It was a new experience going through a cave in a boat.

We were about to enter the cave.

It was a little bit tight in there where we have to bend down our body to let ourselves pass through.

The stalactite I pretended to hug in the picture is said to bring luck to those who walk under around it. Love luck. One will find his/her life partner after going in and out in a circle of the stalactite. Of course I hold WL tight not allowing him to circle it avoiding he got me a competitor after this trip end.

There were too many obscene stalagmite in the cave which caught the attentions of our group.

So I found one too.

On the way out of the cave, our boatmen did a very difficult job in cruising us through the journey avoid brushing and hitting the rocks about 2 inches off my nose. The picture was taken when I had the chance to bend my arm to hold the camera back and snap a quick shot.

At night, we went to the night market to check out what the local sells in their everyday life.
On the second day, we went out to the sea for snorkelling trip at Kradan island.
Koh Kradan , one of the most beautiful islands in Trang island groups, is located about 40 minutes by boat from the mainland.

A picture taken before we walk to the jetty.

Taking picture in the speedboat when there was nothing to do on boat.

A photo taken with our tour guide Tony. Very friendly and nice guy.

Bikini picture with the beach boy I found in the cave.

and more photo. Many of the nice photos are taken with cc camera. I will grab the photo from her camera soon and post them here.

with our young and cute models.

There were a group of bat at the rocks among the leaves. Can you see them?
We ended second day by going for Thai massage at night. 300 Baht for a two hour torturing and painful massage. Be reminded that for every service the Thai provided, we were recommended to give tips. I gave the lady 40 Baht :)
On the third day, early morning we checked out from Wattana Park Hotel and started our journey to Krabi. Wohohoho!!! Krabi, here we come!!
On the way to Krabi hotel, we stopped to visit Tiger Cave. It is a temple.

We visited the meeting hall, tiger cave and the thousand year old big tree.

This is the way to tiger cave but there is no real alive tiger.

Only this statue.

A photo taken outside the temple.

The merits of building the ashes of Buddha. "
Enemy becomes friendly and the bad will be changed to good" . Not bad ah, from rugi can become untung. Haha..

There was a sign written to tell you that you have to walk 1000++ steps to reach the top moutain. No one of us go up the stairs because the thousand over steps scared us.

I think this is the thousand year old big tree the earlier sign board was talking about.

At first I mistaken the big tree to be this one. -_-'''
After the cave, we stopped by to look at the beach view. No. This is not a normal beach. There you see in the photo is sea shells fossil. We did not pay to go further in to look at them in details.
We took photo from far away, even blocked the original intention of cam whoring with the magnificent scene.
At last we checked into Srisuksant Resort in Ao Nang, Krabi at about 2.30pm. We only had thirty minutes to get change and ready for the next activity, island hopping.
We went to four islands if I am not mistaken. I will get more photos to post because my battery flat in the middle of the tour.
On the rocky boat at the beach :)
The water is as clear as crystal and everything looked just like in postcard.
Beach... and there were topless ang moh laying on the beach too.. sun tanning :)
Sunset in Krabi...
We strolled along the beach at night after nine. Pretty and cute soaps for sale.
A must-not-miss when you are in Thailand is the tuk-tuk car. Some even decorated with "ah beng" lights. 20 Baht each person.
On the last day of our trip, we went to elephant village. We had a short but exciting elephant ride for the first time. It was a new experience. Not too bad, I felt like a queen. Haha.
It was really terrifying to feed the elephant and pose for a photo at the same time. The elephant trunk keep on swinging and I can't stand still for a quick shot. I learnt on the day that elephant eats cucumber.
After that we went to visit the crystal clear river. I don't know what this place called but it was a view.

Pretty girls by the river.

Our last stop was in Hatyai which was really short. We only had two hours walk around the place and I failed to shop for anything because it was too rush. We even have to eat our dinner in that freaking short two hours.

Every nice thing must end in a nice way. We crossed Thai border before the sky turn dark. It was a great trip with great people. Happy but too tired.
