Talia is Walking

Talia is finally walking on her own. All my kids cruised furniture around 9-10 months but all walked after their 1st birthday they could but it is almost like they have to get over some mental block that it is okay. She has the stairs mastered up and down which is great because it eliminated a little stress when it came to stairs. Way to go Talia. You are growing up way too fast.

The big 3 0

So yes I turned 30 this year and I don't feel any different but I do feel like I have joined the club. Nate and the kids brought me flowers and made me a cake which decide to have its own fault line. It was a good day with family and friends calls and visits. Thank you to everyone who made my day special.

Kaden's first soccer game

Kaden played soccer for the first time this year and loved it. At first he thought it was more fun to run around and bump into people but he got the hang of it and turned out to be a pretty good player.

Aaron starts preschool

Aaron was so excited that he finally is old enough to do some of the things that Kaden has done. I still did the funshine express with 6 other moms. It was fun and he is learning a lot. I just can't believe I have two kids in school. Good luck Aaron we love you.

Our Salamander Pet

Over the summer our baby pool got stuck down in the window well and one day we decided to clean it out. Inside the pool some water had collected and we found this Salamander. The boys really wanted to keep it as a pet but well, mom and dad said no. We let them have him for the day and then walked down to the bridge where they let him go. They were so sad and they still ask about him.

Budgie Buddies and the Bear

At our zoo they have a building for the budgie buddies which is a huge group of small birds. You can buy these sticks with seeds on them. My friend Heather and I decided to let the kids feed them this time and it was worth every penny. I love the face Aaron is making. Then we went up to see the brown bears and it was great because they were in the water playing around. I think this is as close as you can get without getting mauled. It was a really fun day. Kaden is a kindergartner

I never thought this day would come so soon, but I guess after 2 years of preschool it was bound to happen. Kaden is a kindergartner. He is so excited but was sad to learn he won't ride the bus. He has Mrs. Campbell at RMCA (Rocky mountain classical academy) We are excited to start on this adventure in his life. Good luck Kaden we love you.
