Artist Biography

Polly Purvis was born in New York and currently lives in Seattle, Washington. BA from Temple University and MA from State University of New York, Stony Brook. Studied at Photographic Center Northwest and Pratt Fine Arts Center. Currently working in salvaged metals to create collage, sculpture and mixed media installations, as well as fine art photography. Has exhibited nationally and internationally and is included in a number of prominent collections including The British Museum, The National Archives, The Netherlands Geldmuseum and numerous public and private collections.
