We spend 60,000 dollars at a strip club when we could spend it to help 2500 people who are in poverty.

A Rant from Bob Boldt
I must confess to not having followed Charlie Kirk. In spite of his growing popularity, I found his hateful, homophobic, misogynistic views divisive and distasteful. I did a little research to gain a better perspective on the man and his ideas. This research yielded two important observations many people may not be aware of.
Before he died, Kirk participated in a Cambridge University, London debate. His argument constituted a master class on the use of logical fallacies. His constant irrationality was for me a real insight into the nature of most if not all Conservative fascist thought from the Democrat Right to nearly all Republicans. It was truly a wonder to behold just how thoroughly these Cambridge students destroyed everly premise Kirk was struggling to validate. Far from celebrating the silencing of just another hatemonger, I mourn the loss of one who disproves his own assertions by way of his own stupidity. The last one I would ever want to silence intellectually is Charlie Kirk. His reasoning is its own refutation. I only wish our own young conservatives had the same intellectual facility so evident in their Cambridge fellows or had the mental training to see Kirk’s logical errors.
A Poem by Gloria Stevens
2,4-D (2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid) is a common herbicide found in Agent Orange developed by Monsanto and Dow Chemical and used around the home and garden.
Here is how you grow rich:
plant 2,4-D everywhere
letting it seek skin and water,
soil and everything in reach
until every seed owned
is owned by you.
Did we not see what happened
fifty years ago, the legacy
still with us, the Agent Orange
children and the Agent Orange
grandchildren–Viet Nam?…
Here is how we grow poor:
plant 2,4-D everywhere,
let the chemical ravage
everything until there is nothing
and then you too feel its teeth,
the saliva in its jaws.
Rape is permissable as it rudeness, lying, cheating, adultry and of course, a total diregard to most of the ten commandments.
Most importantly, intolerance is the most important commandment–number eleven–intolerance towards immigrants, people of other religions (especially Islamics) and out-right racism–as in Charlie Kirk–the intolerant individual who is now going after the job of Jesus (in the bible according to Republicans and Trump).

A Poem by Nikhil Nath
I sing and
rise from words
I rise and fill
those seas
those seas I
swim with joy
with joy, I try
to belly dance
to belly dance
in the middle
of the Monsanto muddle
where the roads
close for dinner
around a stalled Eco system
