BATHTUB FUN

Image
Z loves his baths... I never bought a bath seat, so I just lay him in the tub, he LOVES it. I tried to show a video of him "swimming" in the tub, he loves it. I got an error when I tried to put the video on, maybe one of you could help me learn how to do that!

Z Growing up

Image
Image No, he is not eating solids YET!!! But we just wanted him by us at the dinner table while we ate. He seems to like his high chair, or as K calls it... his car seat. Ever since she was able to talk she called it a car seat, we are still trying to convince her that it is a high chair. FUNNY GIRL! CUTE BOY!!

K First Day of PRESCHOOL!

ImageImage
Image always dancing

Image K is so excited about preschool. She Loves going to school with her cousin Drew. And OH YES, she goes to SCHOOL, not preschool. Preschool is just the grade she is in. That is what she told Dad. She is excited to be able to paint tomorrow at school. We had a lot of fun decorating a "paint shirt" that she gets to wear. I am so sad, I didn't get a picture of her doing that. We had a lot of fun together. We have, not so much fun doing homework every morning... she insists. She has to practice writing her name. It took us 20 minutes this morning just working on the K and E. She'll get it, right?

All three are so excited for school to start, K is sad that she has to wait!

MINI CHEERLEADING

Uh-oh!!! My girls take after my own blood. They love to get up in front of a crowd and yell, scream and JUMP for a whole bunch of guys running around with a ball on a field! No, they really had fun at cheerleading camp. They look forward to this EVERY year. A is sad that she is going to be going to Davis instead of Viewmont because she loves to do mini cheerleading. I am trying to explain to her that Davis is just as good as Viewmont, but I did not do a very good job convincing her. Tears were streaming down her face the day she fond out that she was going to be going to Davis. Cute girl!!!Image

KARAOKE

Marty bought me an X-box Karaoke game for my birthday a few years ago, and set it some where that I would not find it so that he could surprise me with it. Well, he forgot where he had put it up til a few days ago. We started playing it... We stayed up until 2 am R man stayed up with us. We had so much fun. This is about 1 week before school started so we were "LIVIN' IT UP!" It was a lot of fun. Come on over and give it a try, it's "FUNNER" ( I know that is not a word) than the WII. In my opinion. Image C and Z fell asleep. I thought it was so cute, I just HAD to take a picture.

1st SMILES captured on camera!!!

Image
Image
Image Our little Z. He is growing up so big! We know Z was smiling even in the NICU, but here he is with his REAL smiles! He smiles big when ever he sees Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters. This last one, he is just opening his eyes BIG and WIDE, just observing life. What a Q.T. We don't how we lived without this little bundle of joy in our lives. He is soul entertainment for us during the day. We all have to take turns holding him, especially our little K. She doesn't seem to be getting too jealous of the little guy. She is even asking if she can "Babysit"! I let her watch him while he is asleep, and I am just nearby. She loves it, and really thinks she is RESPONSIBLE! We will see how long that lasts.

4th of JULY PARADE

Image
Image Mom LOVES to decorate for each season, this year I decorated the kids. I have so much fun painting on the kids' faces. They seem to love it too, all but R, I guess he is just getting too old for this.

WE LOVE YOU!

ImageWe were so greatful to our Bishop to let us have A's Baptism and Z's Blessing. What a wonderful day. After we got there, everything ran smoothly. It took us a minute or two to get there. It was the first time to try and get all 7 of us ready and out the door on a time limit. I think it all went very well. Z was such a good baby, and A just made the whole program. Her sweet spirit radiated through the building. She is just a sweet girl, her testimony is so strong. How blessed am I to have such sweet kids! ( I know everyone feels that way, but it was just extra special that day for me! =)

THE NEW ADDITION

6/07/07 Our little "Z" was born. 9 lbs 11 oz. 21 1/2 " long. He is such a cute baby!!! All the kids LOVE and ADORE him. Unfornately he spent 9 days in the NICU. The nurses just ate him up! It isn't very often that you have an almost 10 pound baby in the NICU. We had some problems with the oxygen, and in the chest x-ray we discovered we had a broken clavicle. The left was broken and the right was bent. Poor baby!

"R" is proud to show off his accomplishments

Image Here is a picture of the poster "R" made for his report on Grand County.
Image After the County Report display, the whole class did a musical performance with their recorders. 1/2 an hour program of them playing music... each person in the class. I thought it was amazing.
Image "R" recieved his WOLF and is now entering into weeblos. How fun... YES I am VERY pregnant.

"C" graduates Kindergarten

Image Calvin had so much fun this year in Kindergarten, he was so lucky to have one of his best friends, and cousin... Brandon in his class. He was able to make many friends this year. He is excited to enter into 1st grade. He is mostly excited about being able to have 3 recesses.
Image Mom's camera ran out of juice, so I didn't get a picture with his "cap" on, we are hoping mimi and papa or grandma and grandpa got a good shot.

"A" got her ears pierced!!!

Image We went to Claire's in the Layton Hills Mall. They drew on her ears with marker to make sure they got them in the corret position. She is so excited to be able to wear earings. Mom just hopes she can take care of them.

BOYS VACATION

Image
Image 4th grade is the time to do those FUN county reports. Ryker chose Grand County without knowing where it was or how fun it may be to go visit. He was actually kind of upset because he wanted one that was closer to us. As he started his research reading about jeep trails and hiking and all the fun things in Moab, he started to get real excited. Mom did too... I started looking up places to stay to go explore his county. I found a cute little place that had cabins for 44 dollars. Since the girls had their fun California trip I thought the boys could go on a little vacation without girls for a night or two. Unfortantely dates that the cabin were available, and the time that Dad could take off work it worked out that they could only be gone one night. However, in that short amount of time they managed to take over 200 pictures, unfortunately over half of them were the boys in the back of the jeep taking pictures of eachother pulling funny faces. They had a blast. They went on a few bumpy jeep trials and lots of long hikes. Dad said they got along good and had a good time. I was glad they were able to have this experience, and the memories will last a life time.
