We spent a few weeks living with Mom-Maw Betty. During that time Halloween occurred. I did manage to get the kids into costume on that date but we went to a wedding reception instead of trick or treating. It was me and the kids. Mike was driving just about three hours everyday and didn't feel up to it. We have yet to get pictures taken of those costumes. (I am still determined to do it.) In the meantime these are pictures of the hat I couldn't resist purchasing. So I ended up being a witch. Goldie and Mom-Maw had fun dressing up in them too!

Words and phrases to describe us

Silly, Two, Learing to Sit, Cupboards to hide in, screws in our tire, 8 coolers in our basement, hour long commutes in mostly rural Northeast Tennssee.

Will our house sell? No more junk, only one hour cleaning time, Whoopee!

Hours devoted to thesis, writing is getting better with practice. This is like a job. I miss my kids on these days. Grass is getting tall, we mow it and have to rake it.

Potty training...will it ever get into the toilet? Smiles and giggles. Tickling Time, dancing time, Sing me to sleep. Can't you hold still?

Emmeline Wells, I'm going to Pa-paw's house to give him his socks. Airplaine, boat, water, birthday presents.

Church, new dresses, wait...I'm poopy. I love you!

Hiking, Fuzzballs, Cake and Teeth

Two days ago Angie and Marshall went hiking with us to Laurel Falls. Thanks for coming to visit us! We had a blast.
Today Goldie dressed up like a pink fuzzball. Isn't it cute?
This is the cake that I made this morning for our 24th of July Celebration. I hope it looks like a wagon wheel on top.
Josiah has three teeth. We keep hoping that fourth one on the top will pop through soon.

More Happenings...

Grandma came to help Rishi during the birth of her 1st baby. This one sure is taking a loooooong time.
Goldie got her holidays mixed up. At her request we dyed 4th of July eggs.
This was taken during the expirement.
We had an afternoon of picture taking. Aren't Josiah's eyes amazing?
What a great kid!

Whoops! Its been more than a month since I posted. Here's what we've been up to:

We planted flowers and enjoyed them (until they got mowed down.)
We did fingerpainting for the first time.
Goldie played with Laney at the family reunion. (Laney is Goldie's first cousin once removed. Does that make sense?)
We played in Jen and Meghan's swimming pool. (Jen is Josiah's first cousin and Meghan is Jen's daughter...once removed:-) We had fun in the pool. I wanted to get one for us. But we can't because during the month of June we decided to move.

Today we...

...did some laundry and brought everyone but mom up in the basket. Someone had to carry it! ...turned around and Josiah had rolled up in his blanket. Silly boy! Isn't he cute?

Our Trip to Gatlinburg May 2007

This last weekend Mike, Rishi, Goldie, Josiah, Jen, Amanda and their families went to Gatlinburg TN. (Jen & Amanda are our nieces) Here are some shots from Jen, Amanda, and another camera.
