When no one was watching,
The Sun came out
Behind the dark clouds
To kiss the earth
And the earth smiled

When no one was watching,
The Sun came out
Behind the dark clouds
To kiss the earth
And the earth smiled

Don’t tell anyone
That you still think of me
When the morning alarm rings
When the lonesome bird sings
When cloud spreads its wings
Don’t tell anyone
Don’t tell anyone
That you still remember the days
With the old books smell
Ink-stained fingers, and stories they tell,
Tree shade where soul mates’ dwell
Don’t tell anyone
Don’t tell anyone
The memories that still flickers,
When the rain softly falls,
Or those undialed calls,
Building doorless walls,
Don’t tell anyone
Don’t tell anyone
Let it stay like the flower in your diary
Like my name slipping into your dream
Like footprints washed by the stream
Unsaid goodbyes your eyes scream
Don’t tell anyone
Don’t tell – Don’t tell
Just sigh and smile
Let love stay quiet for a while.

Cacophony on a summer night
I stole a kiss on the other room
The first, and the last one

The dead leaf floating in air
Love whispers in my ear
We now breathe as one

Mellow winter sun shining-
On the dusty leaves of roadside old banyan!
Two schoolkids going back home hand in hand.

Some thirsts are tough to fill;
Stubborn dreams keeps fying high,
Some memories refuses to die.
Hopes that are born of love,
Marches on and are hard to kill.

Parched summer noon,
Covid lock-down silencing it further.
Berserk emotions choked !

One kiss on the forehead
Couple on the cheeks
Dozen on the cheeks
The lips moved down
And that’s how the rain started
A hesitant touch on the fingers
Tucking away the rebel lock from the eyes
Holding face to gaze in those restless eyes
Soft silhouette melting into warm embrace
And that’s how the rain started
Burning worries calm down in drenching steams
Uncaged mind jumpes into little puddles
Parched heart soaks in the pearly emotions
Paper boat memories floats in the rivulets
And that’s how the rain started
