Tanner cut the cake for Brylee, center pieces are the best!

Our adventure at Toys R Us
Brylee was excited to be going swimming!!!
I can hardly believe my baby girl is 5 years old, I guess I need to quit calling her baby girl now, but she said she would always be my baby girl. It makes me kind of sad, and yes baby hungry too, I guess it is only two kids for us. (Sniff Sniff)
We asked the kids if this year we just celebrated together as a family instead of having a family party like we usually do, and they agreed so we decided we would take her to dinner of her choice and do something fun, whatever she wanted to do.
We started the day early at 7am before Jason headed off to work and let her open her presents and sing to her. I finished her cake the night before so it would be all ready for her when she woke up. My cousin, Shelley, had a baby doll cake pan that I borrowed, and I must say it turned out pretty cute. We got Jason off to work then I let them play for a little before we got Tanner off to school, then we got ready for our day. We got dressed and since she got a bag of clothes for her birthday, out of all she got she had to wear her new red dress. I had a couple gift certificate and a coupon for Toys R Us, so I told her we would go and she could choose something, we walked every isle, minus the boy isles, of the store. She would say "Oh I want that!" I would say "Ok remember that and then after you have walked through the store you can decide what you want." After walking through the store she went back to a dog that had a leash that light up and walked, but then we saw a little dog in a carrier that she wanted more that was a lot cheaper, so she got that and also a barbie family. I grabbed some Christmas wrap that was 90% off and paid a whole $1.50 since I had the gift cards & coupon. Since it was her birthday they gave her a crown and a balloon. We then stopped by to see Grandma Bowen at work and she had to show Shelley and Jenna what she got too. We went to lunch with Grandma Bowen at Brylees choice of Taco Maker since she wanted a crispy bean burrito. We went home for a bit, then when Jason got home we were all ready to go swimming. We let Brylee decide where we would go to dinner and she of course wanted Old McDonalds as he calls it. Not my choice, but it wasn't my birthday to choose either, so that is where we went. We ate and then went to the Clearfield Aquatic Center to swim. Our good friends Amy & Garret I had talked to earlier that day as well and they came swimming too, so it was fun to see them and let the kids play together. We all were exhausted from our fun day and I think Brylee even went to sleep quicker then normal. She is our little night owl, and most nights I think I fall asleep before she does.
Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!
