Easter Outfits
Over a month ago I found matching outfits for the kids for Easter Sunday. I was really excited because getting a 10 year old to want to dress like her little sister and brother is not a easy task. I found a store that let each of the girls choose their favorite dress in the same colors that matched Walter.
I know that this is silly, but I think it goes back to the days of dress up my dolls as a little girl. I always wanted twins so they could be dressed alike. I am so grateful that the lord did not bless me with that childhood wish, but I still enjoy dress my kids up.

The only problem with my plan was that Easter was Conference weekend, No church. So I dressed up the kid anyway. Just for me! I took pictures in bad light, but it made me happy. Hope everyone has a happy Easter weekend.

Let Dance
The Primary in our ward does a Primary dance each spring. They had a DJ, Laser Lights, Disco ball, the whole bit. The girls were really exicted to go. There was only one slow song played all night for the parents to dance to. Once the music started Audrey found me and said that she wanted to dance with a boy. We found a cute 7 year old boy to dance with her. It was really cute to watch. I just wish she would stay 5 for a lot longer.

Kindra also loved to dance.
But what Kindra was really good at with the Limbo.
What a fun way to spend a Friday night.

Little Boys
Walt has decided that my old wicker rocking chair is no longer a chair it is a slide. He is always turning it over and climbing up and sliding down. I am sure that my Grandmother who gave me the chair would have a fit if she found out. All I can say is that little boys play different than little girls. Oh how I love him.

Stitches
On Saturday morning we took the kids to the park, to get them out of the house before Ray and I left for Lake Tahoe. While at the park Walter slid off a ladder and cut his forehead with a wood chip. This was his first trip to Urgent care. What a sweet little boy. He did not even cry and we did not have to hold him down at all while the doctor put 6 stitches in his forehead. What a brave kid. I think I would have complained more then he did.
Today I took him to get the stitches out. He acted the same way. When I asked him if he would climb up onto the table and lay down so the doctor could take the stitches out he smiled and said yes. Then did just that. What a kid.
The doctor said that with the way they stitched it his scar will not be very bad, I guess only time will tell.

Life
Each day over the last few months I tell myself that today I am going to Blog. But as you can tell it has not happened. Today I thought I should go through and find some of the amazing pictures I have taken and post them, but I'm not.
I just decided to post some of my thoughts that are in this head of mine.
1. Mom should never get sick. When everyone else is sick mom takes care of them. But when mom get sick everyone does not know what to do with a crank, sleepy, and tired mom.
2. Babies grow up too fast. Walt turned two last week and I can't believe how fast the time as gone. I want him to stay my baby forever. I guess in someone he always will.
3. Serving in Young Women's is a lot of work. I think I get one activity done and then before I know it next weeks activity is staring me in the face. I have a new application to the good Young Women leaders I had in my youth.
4. Friends come and go in life. WHICH REALLY SUCKS!!!! I miss my friends for all the past stages of my life. Making new friends in a new place is really hard.
5. Age. I think I am getting old because: the deacons look like little kids to me not young men, my new friends all have teenagers, and because my daughter told me this morning that I am really old.
6. Life is full of surprises. When I think I know what is going to happen in my future. Surprise! Someone else has something else in mind.
7. Grateful for life. I am so grateful for my family, I have married the most amazing person who is exactly what I need. I have three of the most beautiful children on this earth and I get to spend my days taking care of them. I feel so blessed.
I could go on, but the dishes and laundry are calling.
