UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE: New news article of RAGE and LOLZ! (Click to read!) To make a long story short: Some tech writer used a copyrighted image to illustrate his article, got confronted by the artist, and responded by being a douche. -We now return to the regular protest notice.-The deviantART community is no longer the artist-respecting site that I joined back in 2005. Because of this, it's no longer a decent place to host my portfolio-- or the the portfolios of anyone else who values their rights to their art.I am tired of people using my work without consent, and of people using others' work without the creators' or owners' consent....

Although, you have a point there. If the owner wants the user to remove her art off of her dA page, she needs to PM her first and tell her to remove her art off of her submissions, but not all people speak English so I'm not sure if she's speaks English or not.

Doesn't work that way. Even if the owner/creator of an artwork is not aware that we're using his/her art, we are not allowed to use it. The site policy is to get proof of permission before using an image from an outside source. It's "Get Permission Before Using", not "Use First, Get Permission Later". Have a read of the site FAQ's:

Look, I know what all this stuff was about. I'm not going to argue about this. I mean, it's not like she didn't mean to steal her art by perpous (sorry for my spelling).
