Woke up at 6:30am cause we had to arrive at the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal 1 hour before departure at 8:05am. The departure hall is small but adequate. There’s a cafe that sells light to heavy meals to fill your stomach, a small store that sells grocery items and newspapers, auto teller machines (ATMs), money changers and also a small gift shop that sells beach stuff like bikini, snorkel etc.
The ferry ride is only 1 hour from the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (Singapore) to the Bandar BentanTelani
terminal (Bintan). There’s a food kiosk onboard that sells stuff like hotdogs, puffs, instant noodles and snacks so if you’re hungry, can grab something light. Be prepared to spend Sing dollars on the ferry.
We arrived at the Bandar BentanTelani terminal at approximately 8:05am (same time as we left because of the time difference). A bus was waiting to bring us to the resort. On the way there, we passed by two very important landmarks – a pair of 3D rhinoceros and a flattened tiger climbing a power cable. I was unable to get a picture of them both as I didn’t have enough time to bring out my camera.
When we arrived at the resort, we were both given welcome drinks. It was a cold and refreshing fruit punch. Nice. Here are some pictures of the resort.
Boyfriend was tired so we went to the room to rest. I watched TV while he slept. Then, we went for lunch at the La Luna restaurant.
