Last part of the trip, I swear! We took a day trip with Krissi and Emery to Manhattan. It was well worth the time! I think we sure saw a lot in 10 hours for having 3 little kids tagging along.

This was the view driving down.

This is Ruthie's perspective of the car ride! She loves the camera.

The first site was the Temple downtown.

It was awesome to see the angel Moroni rising up in the middle of the city.

Next was a lovely picnic in Central Park. Sorry Em, no peanut butter for you today.

Central Park

Actually playing at a Central Park playground! You wouldn't believe how many nannies there were.

I think this bridge is so picturesque.

The Central Park skating rink was already open. Ryan and I did skate there when we went 5 years ago.
Favorite picture of the day.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

We walked a long way to find out the museum is never open on Mondays. FYI. It is still a beautiful building.

Maximizing stroller space. :)

Emmy and Krissi on the Staten Island Ferry. It was a great ferry ride with a view of the city and The Statue of Liberty. That is the Lady Liberty herself in the background.

A little closer shot.

Another one of Tate's talents being demonstrated on the subway. We had a lot of looks.

Ruthie in Times Square.

Times Square
Tate tried out this bat in a souvenir shop. Of course, Ryan bought it for him!

And of all people to run into, Mickey Mouse. My kids were thrilled!

Rockefeller Center

Ice Skaters at Rockefeller Center.

I like the contrast of this ornate church in the middle of all the modern buildings.

They had to get a nap somehow.

Tate played computer games at the Apple store. FAO Schwartz closed at 7pm so we missed it by 15 minutes! Apple was the next best thing for the kids.
I realized after looking through all the many pictures that I didn't have any of my cute brother. So here is the one I found, Landen drying dishes while watching football. Sorry, my bad.
I have to say this trip was so much fun for me!! It makes me wish we lived a whole lot closer to each other! I love you guys! I am so lucky to have a brother and sister as amazing as you! I am excited for the next reunion of the "big kids".
