Bands You Need To Know: Cyberbully Mom Club

Cyberbully mom club

There is something so charmingly sincere about Cyberbully Mom Club’s lo-fi, gritty, pop music. Cyberbully Mom Club doesn’t try to do anything revolutionary and thats what’s so great about them. The Philly band’s music evokes feelings in an approachable, unpretentious way. Their melodies and lyrics are simple and easy to relate to and hum along. Each song tells a story of self-discovery and un-romanticized relationships. CyberBully Mom Club is they type of music you want to listen to when you’re sitting alone outside on a sunny day while reflecting on your life. It gives you a comforting feeling; lie you’re not alone.

Since their reuniting last year, Spraynard have been hard at work writing and recording a new album. Even thoug that full-length is still a ways off, on May 19 Jade Tree will release their new 7 inch entitled Bench. The 7 inch features two songs. The first is the title track “Bench” which will be included on the bands upcoming LP. The other track is a John Crodian cover exclusive to the single. The A.V. Club is premiering “Bench” ahead of that 7-inch release on May 19. Spraynard’s new material steps away from their pop-punk roots and is more mature for the band.

The band played the new song at their show at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles last night. It’s called “Sealed To Me.” The band handed out a lyric sheet for the new track at the merch table before playing the song during their encore (view below). This song is the second new song they have premiered in SIX years. We’re assuming both “Sealed To Me” and previously debuted “Mene” are from an upcoming album from the band.
