I haven't blogged this month, because it has been a really boring month for us. We have been sick, had pink eye twice (Jake still has it, and can't seem to get rid of it!). We have stayed low key and haven't done much of anything. I have been extra busy with my calling and projects. Jake is busy at work, helping to set up two new counter partners in his territory. He is home for about an hour each night and then takes off for his studying sessions. I am hoping we are at the end of this hectic schedule. I am exhausted!
I did manage to take a few pictures of the last month, most of the pictures are from my phone camera.

Kaiden completed 100 days of school! Wahoo! They did a big party at school. The count down begins! I can't wait for summer and to have all my kids home relaxing and playing! This has been a hard year for me, having Kaiden gone all day and running around everywhere.

While Daddy is gone in the evenings we like to do movie nights. The kids set up the chairs on the ottoman so it is like a theater! Ha! We have fun!

Kaiden has had several field trips this year and the girls and I are usually able to go with. In January we went to the Science Museum in Phoenix. It was awesome. In February we went to Bookmans, where the store awarded each child free $10 to spend on any books they wanted. Kaiden loves field trips, and so does Maggie...Next month, the ZOO! :)

In January I took the kids on a hike. Kaiden has been begging for us to taking him hiking. He got all ready to go with his water, flashlight, snacks, other gadgets, compass, pillow and blanket. The sweet little thing thought hiking was camping. He was excited to go hiking though too. We will now have to plan a camping trip! We had a lot of fun. We sure missed Daddy!***
A few weeks ago we got a very special treat....VISITORS! Jake's brother Sam had some business here in Arizona and he brought his wife Holly. We all meet up on Monday night for some yummy Mexican food in Scottsdale. The kids love Sam and Holly and had a fabulous time with them. We had a great time visiting over yummy food. We were so happy to have family come to Arizona and visit us. It made our year and meant so much to us :)
In less than 2 weeks my sisters and Madre are coming to visit while Jake is out of town! Again, I cannot express how excited I am to have family come to US! I can't wait!

A few weeks ago we got a call from my parents saying they got their call! They will be spending the next 3 years in beautiful...
all signs point to CHARLOTTE!
My Dad will be a Mission President, and my mom a full time Missionary in the Charlotte, North Carolina mission for the next 3 year starting in June! I am can't even tell you how happy I am that they are staying the the United States (my prayers were answered)! My kids will be able to see their Grandparents a couple times a year. Yay! I can't be more excited. I have always wanted to go to Charlotte! Now I can spend my summers catching fire flies with my kids in my parents backyard forest! We googled map their home in Charlotte--It is the cutest white southern home surrounded by dense forest. I can't wait to go visit!

Valentines Day. XOXO
and Arizona turned 100!!
This was our family Valentine card this year. The kids had a ball making theses for FHE one night.
The kids helped me make a heart shape pizza and heart rolls. It was fun and yummy!
Macy even liked it!
When Daddy got home from studying, he put on a ROCKY song and then brought in a bike for Kaiden and Maggie. They were so excited. They have wanted bikes for a long time. The weather is amazing so we thought this was a perfect time for them to get bikes.
Can you see the excitement on this little face!?
and this one?!
It rained that night, but it didn't stop us from taking their new rigs for a spin around the park.

The kids are outside riding everyday. They love their bikes, we love that they are outside getting some good old fun exercise.
I love that the park is 3 houses down from us. :)

One of my new year goals is to be outside with the kids daily. We take every opportunity we can to be out in the beautiful sunshine!

We still have our Zoo pass and go at least 3-4 times a month. We always enjoy ourselves.
(Maggie is really happy...can't you tell. To know her is to love her!)

...Can't wait for March! :)
