Birthday Time Again!

WARNING: THIS POST IS GOING TO CONTAIN SOME BRAGGING; SO IF YOU DON'T LIKE BRAG POSTS, DON'T READ IT.

It's birthday time at our house again. =) Well, technically yesterday was. I had a post that I was working on and every time I tried to move a picture it would delete it. I finally decided to start over. Anyway, yesterday Kyson turned 3! I can't believe how fast time flies! He is getting so big. He is very smart. He knows all of his letters (capital and lower case) and colors; and is working on numbers and shapes. He is fully potty trained (yay!) He loves anything to do with Cars, Elmo and Buzz Lightyear. In fact, he was Buzz for Halloween last night.

He is such a sweetheart and still loves to snuggle with mommy. =) He adores his Daddy and big brother.

Told ya I would forget something!

So, in my last blog I said that I would have a hard time remembering everything that has happened... Well, my friend pointed out that I forgot to mention that Jeron started Kindergarten. He absolutely loves it! It is so cute to see Jeron running to the bus stop every morning. He gets so excited! He is really looking forward to his first field trip next week. =)

No Way!

So, there is NO WAY that I can possibly catch up on what has been happening since June. Mostly because I don't remember everything. I will try to remember what I can....

We have been having a good time lately. Jeron's birthday was in June. He had a pool party with all of our family (that could come). It was a lot of fun! Thank you eveyone who was able to make it!

During July we had lots of fun around town with different holiday activities... parades, stuff at the park, etc. In August we had our anniversary. I was very bad and didn't post anything about it. We have been married for six years! It's crazy how fast time flies. For our anniversary I surprised Kevin with a trip out of town. My sister-in-law, Tammy, watched our boys for us. We stayed in a motel in Richfield and then went to the Manti Temple the next day. At the temple we had the opportunity to do sealings for an hour and a half. It was really neat. I enjoyed doing sealings in the same temple that I was married in.

I started school in August. My life has been crazy since. I am working on my graduation papers (applying for graduation). They are due Oct. 15th! I should be graduating in May and I'm way nervous/excited! It's going to be hard but it will be worth it!

A couple of weeks ago I had a scrapbooking party with my sister-in-laws Jenny and Karen and our good friend Jessi. Tammy couldn't make it and we missed her. We had a lot of fun and I enjoyed spending time with them.

This weekend we are going to Richfield. We have a tradition with Kevin's side of the family of getting together over conference weekend and going to the pumpkin patch in Richfield. The kids love it! We're way excited to spend time with our family and let all the cousins play (they don't get to nearly enough).

Last Sunday we went with some friends up Cedar Mountain and took our yearly fall pictures. It was a lot of fun and they turned out cute. Here are a few....

5 years ago today!

Five years ago today our lives completely changed! Jeron Clarence Osguthorpe came into this world at 8:52 AM on June 22, 2005. He weighed 4 lbs. 13 oz. and was 18 inches long. He has been such a blessing in our lives.

Here he is at 2 1/2 weeks old... so tiny!

This was his first time holding his little brother Kyson.... he was so excited!

He's my soccer star! This was last fall.... his Dad was telling him to turn this way but look that way! LOL


Boys will be boys... that's all I can say about this picture!

Jeron told me today, "Mom, you know, God will bless us and help us listen." I told him he was right and asked him who told him that and he said "No one, just Heavenly Father."

Bragging Moment

I have to take a second to brag about my wonderful four year old! I was talking on the phone while cleaning and I mentioned that other than my living room my whole house looked pretty good and if someone came to my door they would think my house was a mess. Well, Jeron must have heard me because a few minutes later I went into the living room and he had cleaned it up! He is such a sweet boy!

Life

So, I know... it has been forever since I last posted on my blog! I'm sorry, but if you remember when I first started my blog I warned all of you that I may not be good at keeping up with it! I have been really lazy and just haven't found time to do it. I would sit down to do it and decide that I didn't want to take the time to add pictures.

We haven't been up to much. Since the last post we had Thanksgiving... we stayed here in Cedar and went to my mom's. It was really nice. There is a family in our ward who just moved here from Chicago and found out that the mom has cancer. She has been going through Chemo and didn't feel up to traveling anywhere for Thanksgiving. We invited them over to join us and it was a lot of fun! I enjoyed having the chance to serve them.

After Thanksgiving we had Kevin's birthday. It was fun. We invited a few friends and my mom over for cake and ice cream. He thinks he's getting old... and he's right!

Next was Kevin's mom (Jean's) wedding... It was so beautiful and we are so happy for her and Mac!

Next was Christmas. We invited my mom over for Christmas Eve. We had dinner, played Bingo, and watched a video about Christ's birth.

Since my mom stayed over Christmas Eve she was here to open presents with us Christmas morning. It was a lot of fun! We had a dinner at her house that evening. It was a great Christmas!

For New Year's Eve we went to Parowan and celebrated at my sister's with food and games! It was a lot of fun!

Since then we have had my mom's birthday and today is my nephew Daxton's (5) and my niece Ariana's (8) birthday. It is a month for birthdays at my house!

On a sad note, my Aunt Tammy passed away on Monday (1/11). She was a wonderful lady and we will miss her a ton! So later this month (maybe this Saturday) I have a memorial service to attend and we also have the baptism of my niece Ashley to go to (Congrats Ashley)! It has been a really busy month for us.
