Post Yogyakarta

I *really* do want to blog about my recent wanderlust trip to Yogya, but..that can wait till later I guess. Guess what -- phone cannot be charged and I'm left with a dead phone now. Congratulations girl! 

Went to Machines asking for some miracle for the known answer -- no warranty or one to one exchange for water damage. Next up I went to Digi, but before I can do anything I remembered that this number is still registered under my dad's name. So..off we go home. 



As of now I'm without phone for three days and it's pretty much bearable. And a blessing in disguise I might say :)

Of iPhone & Suicide

So, my phone has decided to (and very adamant at that) - to commit suicide. A very brave act of somersaulting from my measly handbag into the toilet bowl. Yeah, toilet bowl. *sigh* Why can't I have a decent weekend without having to worry about my phone every few months, ya? And being the smart ass that I am -- I. DID. NOT. SWITCH. OFF. THE. DARN. PHONE. (yes, facepalm guys, and a slow clap as well.). And (amazingly?) there's practically no problem until ~4 hours later when it shows "No SIM detected". Not a techie, of course I went into panic mode. So, I open up the SIM holder -- lo and behold, my SIM is wet. *cries buckets* So, being a smart ass again, I wiped it off and use the phone as normal. Went home, sleep and stuff.

 

What happens next is that I woke up to a totally blackened screen. Nope, not worried yet. No battery, perhaps. So I (being a smart ass for the umpteenth time) plugged in the charger and there's this sound that came out when one charge's his/her phone. Now I cried buckets again. A black  screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen zomg. I went up immediately and grab my hair dryer. After a few mins that feels like forever, I rebooted the phone and voila! It light up again & I swear I'm so happy.

 

So........going to the office & then I noticed that there's light leakage at the top part. Pretty obvious in white background. So I put it in the aging chamber (waiting for any DR members that I know to ask for this favor & finally I saw one familiar face. Phew!). I left it from 8 ~ 2.30 PM. It was very hot inside that I felt like I was in a sauna room haha. Perks of working in R&D where people do aging on everyday basis I guess. Hehe.

 

But the problem then - it vaporizes. Now my back and front camera are foggy. *cries AGAIN* Then I decided to take it out and let it be (turned it off and settled my HayDay progress first hehehe). There's still light leakage visible. But now I just put it into a sack of rice, praying super hard that it will work. Pretty please :(

 

But all in all, if light leakage is what I have to accept, I will. I just want it to work normally. :(

 

So...yeah. Probably leaving it in the sacks until Yogyakarta. Maybe :(

Of Do Bong Soon & Letting Go

Dear self, please learn to let go. It's most definitely not funny. Let's give ourself a chance to be happy, free of this thing shall we? It's of no use. 

That aside, let's start a new fitness journey from now onwards shall we? 힘내! 

Oh. And this Do Bong Soon & Ahn Min Hyuk are seriously giving me a diabetes. For sure 😅 (Yes, I'm 26 AND still in K-dramaland. 💃🏻)
