A Year's Worth of Updates!

Holy Cow I can't believe how fast time flies! It has been a busy year! I am still working at Alpine Adult Center, but we were recently sold by the school district to North Eastern Services so as of October 1, 2012 we will be under new management. I have a new position in the company, I now take a group of individuals to an elementary school and supervise them doing custodial. It is so fun and I love my little group.

I am still in the YW, Beehive advisor and Camp Director, I love it!

Wow, that summed up a whole year, CRAZY!

Quarter of a Century!

So, I just celebrated my 25th birthday and it was great! My mom threw me a party and I had a lot of friends, family, and neighbors come celebrate it with me! The only way it could have been better was if Shelley and Deven and the babies could have been here to spend it with me.

New Calling, New Job, Things are looking UP!

Ok a quick update on my life....

The Sunday after Girl's Camp the 1st counselor of the bishopric asked me if I would be willing to serve as the Beehive Advisor, and of course I immediately said YES! I have been having fun so far, it has been a month now, it is GREAT!

WHen Shelley came to visit, during one of the babies' afternoon naps she made it her mission to find me a better job so I could quit Opinionology. During 1 nap she managed to completely reconstruct my resume and make it more up to date with what people want to see a resume look like, she found 24 jobs for the Alpine School District, AND the next day I got called for an interview and then I got a phone call and I did a phone interview, so anyway, I am now a supervisor/ para educator for ATEC, which is the Alpine Transition and Education Center. I supervise the Special Needs adults as they do their jobs, I LOVE IT! If anyone wants to know more details, call me or ask me when I see you next and I will tell you all about it, I love talking about my job! My clients are SO FUN, my Co-workers are GREAT, and my boss is one of the BEST!

More Camp

This was the leader song for the Miss Shalom Pageant. I wrote a song to the tune "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus, I titled it Party at Camp Shalom- Pretty fantastic is you ask me! I will try to upload the video! Yes i am the one with the blue hair!

The Bishop came up on friday and they all played a waterfront game where they were racing with the other wards and they had to collect 1 noodle for each value color and then string them on the rope in the correct order, with no help from the girls.... the girls had so much fun!
