Coverage of more than a decade of conspiracy for Wars in the middle East!

As the same establishment press that sold the public the Iraq WMD lies "breaks" the "news" that Bush and Blair planned the invasion in advance, James shows the documents we've had for a decade telling us the exact same thing. And people wonder why trust in media is at an all-time low...

Hezbollah 'deeply rooted in Lebanese society'

Published on 22 Jul 2013 | EU foreign ministers have agreed to list the military wing of Lebanese militant group Hezbollah as a terrorist organisation.

It will now become illegal for Hezbollah sympathisers in Europe to send the group money or for European diplomats to meet its militant staff.

The BBC's Jim Muir spoke to people in Beirut who told him that Hezbollah was "everything to us... It is not a terrorist organisation".

He also suggested that Hezbollah would dismiss the EU move as politically motivated, given the group's controversial involvement in the war in Syria.

Lebanon bombings linked to civil war in Syria.

By Niall Green  | 22 October 2012
Two bombings in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, have thrown the country into crisis, further exposing the danger that the civil war in Syria could spark a far wider conflagration throughout the region.
On Friday, a massive explosion in Beirut killed eight people, including a top Internal Security Forces officer, Brigadier General Wissam al-Hassan. An estimated 78 people were injured in the blast, which hit a motorcade passing through a historic Christian neighborhood of the city.
A Lebanese security official told reporters that immediately prior to his killing, Hassan had returned from a visit to France and Germany. The car in which he was riding at the time of the attack was reportedly not armored, despite the obvious dangers associated with his position and the volatile state of Lebanese politics.
General al-Hassan headed an investigation this year that implicated a former minister in the Hezbollah-led government of Lebanon in an alleged plot with Syrian officials to carry out terrorist attacks inside the country. The minister implicated in al-Hassan’s investigation, Michel Samaha, is reported to have longstanding links with US, French and Syrian intelligence agencies. A former member of the fascist Phalangist movement during the Lebanese civil war, Samaha had in recent years formed an alliance with Hezbollah.
Several leading Lebanese politicians jumped to blame the government in neighboring Syria for the assassination. Saad al-Hariri, the leader of Lebanon’s main opposition bloc, accused the government in Damascus of being behind the killing of al-Hassan.

Report says Israel tried to kill Nasrallah.

infolivetvenglish on 5 Aug 2011 - A bombing in a Beirut suburb last Friday was an Israeli attempt to assassinate Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah the Kuwaiti daily al-Jareeda reported.
Unnamed sources told the daily Israel received information of plans by Nasrallah to meet with senior officials in the southern Beirut suburb, including Lebanese terrorist Samir Kuntar who was freed by Israel in a Hezbollah prisoner swap.
A number of Hezbollah members are believed to have been injured in the blast but there is no confirmation concerning whether Nasrallah was also injured, the Kuwaiti daily said.
One of those believed to have been injured is Mustafa Badr al-Din a senior Hezbollah official wanted by the Special Tribunal in Lebanon investigating the 2005 assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
Many rumors circulated in Beirut after the blast which Hezbollah maintained was caused by a gas leak and secured the site barring police or military officials from approaching.

Hezbollah Secretary General: The Gov't We Want Does Not Cancel Anyone

Image(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyes Hasan Nasrallah delivers a televised discourse on Al-Manar TV to tackle the latest developments pertaining to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon and address the latest political situation on the eve of binding parliamentary consultations with President Michel Sleiman to choose a new prime minister to for the government.

Consultations will be held Monday and Tuesday at the Baabda Presidential Palace as March 14 MPs are set to nominate caretaker PM Saad Hariri for the post, while the opposition will nominate another Muslim Sunni figure.  Opposition MPs will agree on one of the three strong candidates: Former PM Omar Karameh, Former PM Najib Mikati, and former Minister Mohamad Safadi.

On the STL (Special Tribunal for Lebanon), Sayyed Nasrallah lashed out at prosecutor Daniel Bellemare for deciding to threaten to prosecute any side that will leak any information about the indictment, which he submitted to pre-trial judge Daniel Fransen last week. “What is really strange is that years have passed since the details of the international investigation were leaked to the press and Bellemare remained silent; because all the leaks were serving the purpose of targeting Hezbollah and Syria. Bellemare submitted his indictment last Monday at a time when binding consultations were scheduled; this was part of the politicization of the STL, however, consultations were postponed. We used to hear that Fransen would need between six to ten weeks to look into the details of the indictment, but we have come to notice that the steps have been hastened and a February 7 date was set for a public hearing; it is clear that the indictment is being employed for political reasons.”
