The important thing is setting the tone of your blog, thats what i feel. Then again it depends on your interpretation of what's the philosphy behind a blog. And how is a blog different from those little black diaries. I didn't have a very regularly maintained diary, but sometimes needed the urge to write and somehow if I had to put down in black and white any nonsense that came up during such urges, it had to be in a very well styled dairy, with a nice full page per date(even sundays deserve a full page and not the little footnotes they are given).
Ya so those were diaries, meant to be fiercely protected and anyone who dares to flip a few pages, knew too much and deserved to die. So well you could actually put in what you really felt like, because people generally are not interested to bring forth so much ire upon themselves for a little useless knowledge of a young man's idle musings.
But a web log is different, it is meant for public display, as everything on the web is meant to be, but at the same time there is the hint that you are writing a diary. Its as if the appearance and ambience of this site and compose box is slowly tricking you into displaying a bit of your private side into what you write, a bit more than you would like actually.
Oh well i'll leave this at that. Maybe i was looking for a reasons not to start a blog, being the lazy guy i am, i can find reasons to not do anything in this world. Writing this blog happens to be a nice way of procrastinating. Like write now I've got my end semester exams coming up and all i'm doing is fishing around for ways to waste my time. I happened to come across this one. So I can't promise regular updates here, only when i am at the end of tether looking for useless things to do, I am usually successful in more thrilling ways, so i'll be give blogging a pass most of the time. Still i'll be coming here in desperate times. Ya maybe if i do come across something I know people like to see (I'll be making many more such assumptions on your behalf in coming posts so better get used to it) then i will put definately overcome inertia and put it up.
