Happy Birthday Talen!

Talen turned 3 on August 9th. Jared and I wished him a Happy Birthday, to which he replied, "Just a minute, let me go look in the mirror.... I'm a big boy now!!" We are so lucky to have Talen apart of our family. He is such a good big brother and a joy to play with.
Talen came into our life just at the right moment. 2005 was a brutal year for our family and Heavenly Father blessed me with a sweet little one to give me strength. My Grandpa Sullivan was battling cancer and told me he would hang on to greet my baby boy. My grandpa was not only able to greet my baby, but was able to send him to me with love. That was just the beginning to our "fun" 2005. We can save that for another time....Happy Thoughts!!
Talen wanted his birthday at the "jumping place". He had so much fun with all of his friends. His favorite friend (Grandpa) was so excited to be able to jump in and join all the kids! Talen wanted to jump on everything that grandpa did. We had a great time and best of all mom and dad didn't have to clean up!

Later that night, Talen accompanied mom to his nursery leaders wedding reception! I just love how excited he was that she got married on his birthday! We had a great night just the two of us. Dad and Caden were having a good time with movie night and mom had the best dance partner in the world!

Happy Birthday Talen!!

WE LOVE YOU!!

Cruisin up to date...

Well, it's been three whole months since our last post. A few things that have happened... Mexican Cruise, Chuck e Cheese (many times), Jared's Baseball Trip back East, Family Reunions, a visit from two of our nieces (Anna & Kirsten) and many more activities to come...
~ Mexican Cruise ~
We had so much fun on our Cruise. We enjoyed cruising with Jordan and Brittney. They are so easy to travel with and we enjoy spending time with them. Our favorite part of the whole cruise was sitting back and playing cards. A tradition in the Sullivan family that they picked up so well!

There was so much going on and we have so many memories from our trip. Such as...

1. All the vendors shouting to Jared, "Hey big man, we've got some shirts that will fit you!

2. Stephanie showing her "goodies" to all of Puerto Vallarta from our balcony. She was very comfortable cruising out in the open seas! Just forgot that we docked early in the morning.

3. Dinner at the Chef's table. We went to a private dinner where the head chef cooked and served dinner. The dinner was amazing... minus all the alcohol that was being cooked and served. It was a dinner we will never forget.

4. Ghetto nightclub... we experienced that one night. Once was enough for Jared, in fact 20 minutes was enough. Needless to say, we left quite early and because of that Stephanie received the most beautiful bouquet of flowers the next night at dinner. (He still owes me a dance!)

5. People watching... Disneyland is good for people watching, but on a cruise you get to see them over and over again with their different "costumes"!

We had a great time and can't wait to cruise again...

A great big thanks to Grandpa Keith and Grandma Nelessa for setting up "Camp" for our boys. They love every minute they get to spend with their Grandparents. Next time... you're cruisin with us.
