Hanging Hearts
I wanted to make a decoration that went with February and the theme of Valentines Day, so I came up with this idea. I printed heart patterns out on the computer and traced them on decorative card-stock and cut them out. Then I put one conch in each heart, for reinforcement, and punched a hole in the center of each conch. I made the string the hearts are hanging on from fabric, and stuffed it with cotton fill. The rest is pretty self explanatory.

Puffy pillow "Candy Corns"
I got the idea to make these cute candy corns from looking at stuff on eBay. I already had all the fabric and stuffing, so I thought it would be a great project that wouldn't cost me a dime! I ended up buying a basket from Good Will for $3. I wanted it to look more Halloween style, so I spray painted it black. Then I put the stuffed candy corns in it(after the paint dried of course), and there you have it! You could use the candy corn pillows on a bed or couch though, if you wanted to make a room look more festive for fall.
Scrappy "witches brew" pic
I made this picture with scrapbook paper. I had Emilie's help posing for the pictures. I just put one of my shirts on her with a black sash that I have and told her to pretend like she was stirring soup with a wooden spoon. She loved it, and the pictures turned out great! It's hard to see all the details, but the hats are actually crinkled up a little bit. I got the picture frame from Good Will for $1.25 and spray painted it black. Turned out to be a pretty cheap project, which I love! :)

Fall table runner
I found a pattern for a cute table runner and decided to make a fall one. The pattern uses rickrack, but I decided just to use what fabric I had and leave the rickrack off. If you want the pattern just click here. I found the bowl at Good Will and thought it would make a great centerpiece for my table. The best part is that it was only $6
