Christmas Rejects and Dance Parties
Now that you've gotten our xmas card and pic, I can show you a few of the reject photos. I like this one - it looks like James has magicked Pippa from thin air.
I have approximately 12,000 photos that look like this - our girls are tremendously unphotogenic, a trait they inherit from me (which is why I'm never on here). Most of our pics looks like this.
The girls love a good dance party. It's even better if it involves butterfly wings.
Witch hats and butterfly wings add a whole new dimension.

Another Mini Kitchen Reno
James and Bill decided to replace the kitchen sink -- it was a nasty, stained, cracked undermount ceramic, and water ran all over the counter, cuz there was no lip to make splashes drain back into the sink.
The old sink, halfway through the transformation.
No more old sink.
The new one is clean and shiny :)
(and has a lip all the way around, so water stays where it should).

More Christmas Pics
Santa's sleigh and reindeer tracks. The gold "x" is reindeer attractant given to us by cousins - it worked!
Look closely and you can see the sleigh tracks, Santa's footprints next to it, and reindeer prints behind it. Someone was busy xmas eve.

True Mainers now - they asked for shovels for Christmas, so their Grandmama got them kid-sized shovels.

Even More Holiday Celebrations...
Figgy Pudding - if you listen closely Pippa really sings the entire song even tho Rowan yells over her the entire time.

Jingle Bells - it gets a bit crazy at the end.
The girls leave bourbon and figgy pudding for Santa. While we were putting the girls to bed, Cabar (one of our dogs) ate the pudding. Luckily, the bourbon was untouched.

Haircut
Continuing with the tradition of posting old photos long after they were taken, back in June we decided it was time to get Pippa's hair cut for the first time.
It had gotten down past her waist if you stretched the curls out.

Rowan, 30 seconds after falling into the Puddle. James was literally 10 inches from her. She's uncanny that way. We don't call her Destructo Baby for nothin'.

Pippa's Birthday
So, we've got a couple of months of catching up to do. Here are some photos from Pippa's 3rd birthday party (which was back in May-- so these photos are pretty old at this point...). We had a bunch of our friends over and had a backyard party w/ lots of good food.

The cake was her request -- strawberry cheesecake, made from scratch by James.
Thank goodness someone is watching our kids, cuz clearly we're not.
Pippa's actual birthday morning, what better way to celebrate than a birthday blueberry pancake.
Her "big" gift from us - her first bike. It's a 'like-a-bike' knock-off -- no pedals so they learn to balance and learn pedaling later. She's gotten pretty good at it.
We were headed to the river, so the girls are sporting their swim tops and shoes.
Diddle diddle dumpling...
We'll try to get more up soon so we get caught up.
