Who owned October and Who owned the World Series in 2025?

The playoffs and World Series are over and what a finale it was. And with October bring done, the metric of Who Owned October and Who Owned the World Series turned out to be pretty accurate.

As for the hitters, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. had the highest WOO total with 4 1/2, finishing 1 ahead of Mookie Betts’ 3 1/2 and a log jam for third with Jackson Chourio, Teoscar Hernandez and Alejandro Kirk.

To nobody’s surprise, Yoshinobu Yamamoto had the highest WOO pitching total with 5. His teammate Blake Snell finished tied for second with 3 1/2 along side rookie sensation Trey Yesavage and Cubs reliever Daniel Palencia.

But the highest overall total belongs to Shohei Ohtani with 5, compiling 2 1/2 as a hitter, 2 /2 as a pitcher.

The tallies went along with Who Owned the World Series (WOWS).

Vladimir Guerrero topped hitters with 2 WOWS. Yoshinobu Yamamoto had the top pitcher tally with 3 and Shohei Ohtani had a combined total of 2.

Three players dominated October and had the numbers to prove it.

Miguel Rojas hit dramatic game tying home run in the top of 9th and made a World Series saving play in the bottom of the 9th as the Dodgers won an all time classic game in Toronto, 5-4.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto game into the game with no rest to wiggle out of trouble in the 9th, 10th and clinch the World Series for the Dodgers over the Blue Jays, 5-4..

Bo Bichette hit a 3 run homer that put the Blue Jays up until the 9th. They lost a crushing clincher to Los Angeles, 5-4.

Trey Yesavage came out of the bullpen and collected 5 key outs. But the Blue Jays dropped a 5-4 heartbreaker to the Dodgers.
