Prayer, at the heart of the life in Taizé, is proposed to young people and to all those who come here as an important way for turning towards the sources of inner life and of faith. The Taizé Community and the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong warmly invite young people from around the world to join this gathering. On the occasion of the Diocese’s 80th anniversary, we come together as “Messengers of Hope”, rekindling hope with the pilgrim Church along the journey, walking together in communion.   There will be common prayer with the Taizé brothers, and brothers and sisters from different Christian traditions are most welcome to join.  

Faithful God, we give you thanks, you who gather us in your name, in all our diversity, to live together a parable of communion—whether we our mission be in Taizé or elsewhere—reflecting the friendship you have for every human being. Each of us, at one moment or another, has recognized that your Son, Jesus, was asking: “What are you looking for?” and inviting us: “Come and follow me!” And he offers to make us his friends, in a friendship that knows no limits.
