HAVING FUN WITH THE BROWNS

For Liz's Dad's 80th birthday Ken and Janet came from Utah to visit and Paul and his kids came from Alabama. Paul's wife, mary stayed behind to work, set up their new home and enjoy some alone time! We had fun visiting and the kids had even more fun playing with cousins that they had never meet before!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD, GRANDPA AND GREAT GRANDPA!!!

Today Li's dad turned 80 years old. He doesn't look it or act it but he is 80! So did we have a fancy dinner or a big party or did he and Liz's mom go on a cruise to celebrate? Nope, he was working at the Bishop's Storehouse. in Carrollton, TX. The Bishop's Storehouse is LDS church ran storehouse for those who are having financial problems. Getting a "food order" allow's the person to then to free up money for bills etc. The people who work there are not paid and Liz's parents both work a full 8 hour day there every Tuesday.

CHRISTMAS DAY PART

This is about the time when I was feeling really sick. My stomach was doing flips and did not want to eat anything. I ended up with the stomach flu and spent most of Christmas day laying down. The next day we had grand plans of cleaning up Christmas and rearanging the office and living room but I spent most of the day asleep and Liz caught a cold!
Image
We set up Liz's lap top so that we could connect via Skype to Dave's sister, Jen and her husband, David and Dave's Mom Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Greg. Everyone had fun watching the kids open gifts!

Lots of toys for Mr. J and clothes for Ms. B

Then Mom & Dad got in front of the camera and got a beautiful clock with the words "family" "we believe in each other" from Jen & David.

Dave got a wonderful Christmas picture of his Dad and Uncle Bill (thanks for the help Bill) when they were kids! These are the kind of gifts that are priceless!

WHITE CHRISTMAS

After we opened gifts we had breakfest and played in the snow waiting for Grandma Kathy to call. It was fun waking up to a white Christmas!
