What to do with all the Christmas candy canes?

  I love to put candy canes on my Christmas tree,  but once  I take down the tree  I am left with tons of candy canes. My kids can only eat so many candy canes, and mix them in hot chocolate.   So today while looking at the huge bag of candy canes I decided to make some easy yummy cookies with them.

 

 1 box cake mix

1egg

3/4 cup oil

4 candy canes

 crush up candy canes

 add to cookie dough

 scoop out with cookie scoop

bake at 350 for 8-12min

Spring Break

This last week was Spring Break! Being that Shawn had made it a goal to get perfect attendance this year, this was our chance to go and have some fun.  

First thing was to go to Baker and get the 1st strawberries of the season and they were oh so good!

I think he likes the strawberries!
