Easton's First Day of Preschool

Just 1 Year Behind......BOOOOOO!

On August 20th, 2012 we headed over to Snow Springs Elementary for meet the teacher night, or as I like to call it, "Back to School Night".  The girls were very excited to get dressed in new school clothes and go find out where their classrooms would be this year!

 

Sydnee is going in to 2nd grade this year and her teacher is Mrs. Corry.  We struggled finding her classroom, but after walking around the entire school, we discovered that she would be out in the trailers this year!  Fun stuff!  Syd was excited about having class in the trailers.  I am happy that Syd is excited about school.  Mrs. Corry seems very nice and I think that Sydnee is going to have a wonderful year!

 

Sage is going in to 4th grade this year and her teacher is Mr. Woolston.  This is her first time having a male teacher.  I told her that my first male teacher was in 4th grade too and I absolutely loved him! I think that she will enjoy it.  We had an easy time finding her classroom, but Sage decided she didn't want her picture taken with her teacher this year.  Because it is a man she said, "I think it would be too uncomfortable".  I respected her wishes and didn't force her to smile for the camera with Mr. Woolston.  I am happy that Sage is looking forward to school and I think that her teacher will be a good one.  I think that Sage is going to have an awesome year!

 

Syd had a great first day and she even decided that she isn't scared about going to lunch anymore!  Whew......I was worried that she would worry and get tummy aches again this year.  Hopefully we are over that and ready for a good school year!  YIPEE!!  Love ya Syd!  Sydnee picked out this super cute and stylish outfit to wear.  I think she looked beautiful!  Syd is always talking about stylish clothes and wonders why I never buy her anything stylish.  I think that she is satisfied with what she got this year. :)

Sage had a super first day of school.  She was happy that she found her friends, Jaden and Jayden at lunch and recess.  She is a little sad that none of her favorite buddies are in her class, but I told her that she will have the chance to meet new girls and make more new friends.  I think that she is really going to enjoy the school year.  She is sweet and a good student, so that can only add up to success.  Sage picked out this cute outfit to wear.  Grandma Cheryl gave her this shirt and I think she looked beautiful!  Love ya Sage!

Well, I am 1 year behind on blogging and that is so sad to me.  I hope that I can get back to journaling and keeping track of our lives.  Wish me luck!!

My Four Favorite Kids!

 When Sage and Sydnee came out of school today, I just thought that they both looked so adorable!  I love these girls and I think that they are the most beautiful little angels.  I made them get their pictures taken when we got home.  I told them to strike a pose and they both followed through and gave me some good ones.  Cuties!  

Sage finally got brave and while we were at Walmart one day, she asked if they pierce ears. When I told her yes, she kinda got nervous again, but ended up getting them done anyway.  She didn't cry at all.  She just sat bravely and let the lady do her thing.  What a sweetie!  I think she loves her new earrings and of course she looks adorable!

One day while the girls were at school, the boys and I had a fun play date out back on the grass.  We brought out a blanket, toys and books.  It was so much fun.  We enjoyed every minute of our time together.  I love my boys.  Easton and Tyce are so much fun and so dang cute!  It's times like these that make me so thankful that I can be a mom.

August 2011 - We took family pictures with the Youngs and I knew that we were in need of an updated family picture of our own, so we just snapped a few and were able to get one that turned out pretty cute!

We took a family vacation with the Youngs to Six Lakes, Altamont, Utah. It was tons of fun and this is the family picture that we took while we were there.

Aaahhhh.........what happened to blogging???

I am sad that I haven't been blogging. I used to love to blog and look at everyone's blogs, but it seems like Facebook took over peoples lives and they quit blogging. I am sad that happened to me for awhile, but I know that I want to start up my blog again because it is my journal and life is worth keeping record of. Anyway, to kick off my "blogging again" goal I have decided to post pictures of our sweet kids on or around their recent birthdays. I hope that I can face up to the challenge of documenting our lives through words and pictures. It is tough to find the time, but journaling is so important, so here I go again!

First Day of School - 2011

August 23rd, 2011 was the first day of school for our sweet girls! They were very excited and of course a tiny bit nervous. They picked out some cute outfits to wear, we got their hair fixed and they were ready to meet another school year head on! I'm sure that they were more ready than I was. I always have mixed emotions on the first day of school. I want them to go to school, because they have fun and it keeps them from getting bored around home, but I sure miss their pretty smiles while they are gone. It is good for all of us though and it is definitely time to head back to school!

We were up and at it and on the ball, so the boys got their new clothes on and their hair all fixed up and we took their pictures too!

We found the spot where Sydnee's class lines up and she got in line and was ready to head in. She looked so cute! Love this smart little cookie! Oh, the boy she is with in the top left picture is my cousin Candis' son. He is in Sydnee's class along with Justice. Two relatives. Fun stuff!



Sage saw a few of her friends from last year. I made them stand together for a picture. They are such cute girls. After chatting for a minute she headed off to get in line with her new class. She looked so cute! Love this little smarty pants!



The boys were so good this morning as we walked Sage and Sydnee to the back of the school and watched them head in on their new adventures. They are so cute and silly. I love their little guts!
