Halloween Week Dinners

My mom sent me a cute Halloween Food Magazine so I decided to make all Halloween dinners this week. It was fun.

Monday was Mummy Pizzas





Tuesday was Mummy Hot Dogs!

Wednesday was Scarecrow Tostada's

Lastly, Thursday was Monster Burgers!!

Fun Fun! I love Halloween!

Picture Day -NOT!!!

Well today was picture day and since we just had our family pictures taken I decided not to order them this year. I didn't want to pay $50 per kid for pictures that are not even very good usually. The kids looked cute though, so I thought I'd take their picture anyway....Jackson jumped in at the last minute.

Camping Again!

Our third and last camping trip of the summer was with Brent's family to Grover Hot Springs. We had a really great time with them. They are such wondeful people and a lot of fun. Almost everyone was there. We missed Bella, Logan and Ashleigh. Lance took a huge group photo that I will add later, but for now here is a smile box of some photo's. I am so blessed to have married into such a wonderful family.

Camping Trips

We went camping twice this summer (and actually will be going again in a few weeks) Our first camping trip was to Tahoe in June, then in August we went about an hour away and camped on the Yuba River. Both places were a lot of fun.
Tahoe: Sugar Pine Point Campground

This place was beautiful, but there were bears everywhere. No, seriously there were. The day we checked in the ranger told us the night before a camper's car had crumbs in the baby car seat and the bear broke in and the door closed behind it and the bear freaked out and tore up the whole car. The first night while we were eating dinner the kids were in the woods playing and all came running out screaming that there was a bear. Sure enough a baby cub was just standing there. It wouldn't go away either. The last night we were there a few people saw a huge bear literally walking next to our tent. Freaky!!

Other then that we had a great time. We had about 11 families join us this time. It was a huge group with a lot of fun kids and we had a great time. Campfire & roasting smores! YUM!

At Lake Tahoe. That place is beautiul. The water was crystal clear (and cold!)

River Rest Resort:

The second trip was to a little RV park near Grass Valley. The acutal sites were super small and kind of trashy, but the river was amazing. The kids could jump on their rafts and ride the little rapids down to the other side all while the parents watched from our site. The dad's did some "cliff jumping" with the boys and the mom's hung out on the rafts in the sun enjoying the weather and water. It was super relaxing. Just what I needed!

I don't have many photo's from this trip, but Michelle took a bunch so hopefully I can get more on here soon.

1st day of school

Another year.......school begins. Doesn't Josh look thrilled? Josh is in 7th grade this year (middle school -yikes!) and Hannah is in 2nd! Too bad there isn't a picture of me.
You would see a very happy face smiling back!

The last Hurrah!

Before the kids started school again we decided to have one last hurrah. We took them out for the evening and had a great time. We started the night by going to Red Robin for dinner. Then we went to Sunsplash for a round of Mini-Golf

After Mini-Golf we decided to do the race cars. They were so much fun!!!!!!!!! Josh was very hesitant to drive by himself. Here he is below looking very nervous and after having had a great time!!

Last but not least we went to Nuyo for frozen yogurt. The kids picked their flavors and piled on the toppings.

A good time was had by all and then it was on to start another school year!
