Quiltmaker Color Options Quilt Tops

Here are a couple Color Option quilt tops I made for Quiltmaker this Spring.
They are both in the July/August 2014 issue, in your mailbox and on sale now.

I worked on this one at our Spring Break Retreat and I thought for sure I wold have it finished by the end of the day on Thursday. HAH!!! It was well into the day on Saturday before it was complete.

This one is Climbing Roses by Jo Moury and is 57" x 57". There were a LOT of pieces in this little quilt top.

This one was is Luminous by Ann Hansen and was made using Olympic fabrics, which fit just perfectly with our retreat theme of Spring Break at the Quilting Olympics.

Really big pieces in the lap size quilt that I made in an afternoon.

Dragonflys for Angie

Angie made this lap size quilt from leftovers of two quilts.

She really likes dragonflies, so I chose a Dragon Fly panto to quilt this one.

 Permacore gold thread and Hobbs 80/20 batting.

Mary Helen's T-shirt Quilts

Mary Helen makes t-shirt quilts for all her grandchildren when they graduate from high school. Lucky grandkids, huh? She made 2 of them this year.

Here's the first one, although not a very good picture of it.

Mary's Pumpkins

Some members of our guild had a pumpkin block swap last year. I have seen a few of the quilts and they are all wonderful. This one was made by Mary and I love it!

 

 The blocks are so cute, each of them is different and lots of 3-dimensional parts. I stitched around all of them and quilted diagonal lines in the blocks, alternating from block to block.

The block borders have a leaf design.
