We tried to not use the phrase A* in the show. It worked, sort of.
A* is the “F’n” thing we had to do. The framework helps bridge a knowledge divide.
The fine line between apathy and ignorance.
The A* framework is a way to teach not just A* literacy but sneak in information literacy.
If you don’t care about anything but getting to the end of the day, A* will not end well.
Must use tools responsibly, and that starts with giving a damn about the use of the tool.
Age-appropriate A* literacy with guidance.

Education developed from a gateway, to a way to keep your arm out of the machine, to a scaled system that may not work.
It all comes down to critical thinking and evaluation.
Access process, not product.
A* as a tool to teach when needed and evaluate it always.
Are students self-aware of the tools they are using? Can they teach it or relate it to their experiences?
A* is abused more than used properly.
Can we use A* to amplify and enlighten?
