Jake's birthday is on Monday so I gave him an early b-day gift! On Saturday we drove up to Provo to go the Stadium of Fire - it was such a blast! Brad Paisley was headlining & he was incredible I absolutely LOVED watching him perform. He sang a lot of his hit songs including my favorite "Old Alabama" I want to go see him in concert now maybe that will be Jake's present next year! David Archuleta was the opening performer & while I'm not a Archuleta fan he does have an amazing voice. They also had a talent search contest, the final 3 bands in this contest played for the entire stadium & we chose the winner (well kind of). We were supposed to text our votes to their "hotline" and it ended up breaking because of too many texts at once so they did it the old fashioned way & did a decibal reading. They had an amazing fireworks display & dancers from all over Utah, Idaho & Wyoming - they did an awesome routine dancing to "Firework" by Katy Perry they did it with glow sticks in the dark.
It was definitely a fun event to go to & I wouldn't mind going back!
