Soccer Season Has Begun

Addi's 1st soccer game of the season was last Saturday (the first few pictures are from that game) I am the lucky coach this year! It's been about 13 years since I've played soccer so I could possibly be a little rusty! Honestly as long as I can get the girls to kick the ball & kick it in the right direction.... I am HAPPY!! :) They have a lot of fun though. We've had 2 games so far this season, the first one was against a very aggressive team and we got our butts kicked (not that they keep score) the second game was against a much more mild team & Addi's aggressive side definitely shone through! She scored 2 goals & she was beaming - we're very proud of you little soccer princess!

I was a little behind this year on getting pictures done I usually get them done in June but I have not had any free time to get them done. So finally amidst everyone's crazy busy schedules I just scheduled a time and prayed it would work... thank heavens it did! Jake was such a good sport in getting pictures done because he is NOT a fan. It was 109 degrees in St George when we got them done too so the kids only lasted a little while in that heat before they were completely done! Amber is such an amazing photographer & I absolutely adore her.

Kimber's Baby Blessing

Kimber's baby blessing was a couple of Sunday's ago & it was truly a beautiful day! Shari & Matt seem like they have super nice people in their ward and it was good to see all of the family there to support them! :) There of course was good food (as there always is at our family functions!) & everyone had a great time catching up! Congrats Matt & Shari you have an amazingly cute little family!

Ok I'm like beyond far behind.... I know this haha and I haven't been faithfully using my camera like I typically do! :) Where on earth has this summer gone?! It was late getting here and feels way to early for it to be gone already! Well these first couple of pictures are from when I took Addi & Kambri fishing at Duck Creek Reservoir! We caught some sun... and some weeds but I wasn't faithfully helping her fish I was too busy chasing Kambri around in the dirt. The kids had a blast and of course Addi made a new friend (as she does WHEREVER she goes)

These are some pictures from our 24th of July BBQ! Addi was with her dad for the actual BBQ but she made it in time for the fireworks which was a lot of fun. The 24th is my Grandpa's birthday so we celebrated that at the same time - Grandma & Grandpa came up & so did Lauren & Ricky the kids had a blast playing in the back yard & going for wagon rides! Grandpa Merald even joined in the fun and pulled them around the yard a time or 2. :)

This was from the 24th of July parade that they had Monday morning - I had to work but I took a couple of hours off to take them to see all the fun floats & sit in the heat. (And let me tell you it was HOT!!) Addi got some candy & a frisby, nothing too exciting but I'm glad we went! Kambri had a super hard time not being out in the street with the kids but she kept going IN the street ha ha - maybe next year she'll understand what getting run over by a car means!
