Christmas Eve

This year for Christmas Eve I was working and so was Jake so we didn't do a ton during the day. We went to Jake's Aunt Hetty's house after he got off work for dinner. We had dinner, sang Christmas carols and had a special visit from Santa. After we got done there we went home where Addi opened her Christmas Eve present and she had presents for us as well. She got a new movie, popcorn, pajamas & a hot chocolate kit. Jake got a new football & I got a horse (Addi hand picked these out at her Secret Santa Workshop at school.) We all got our pajamas on and watched a movie & ate popcorn. After the movie we set out cookies & milk for Santa and went to bed.

Kam's School Christmas Performance

Kambri & Kaylee had their Christmas Program for school a couple of weeks ago. These girls did SO good and had so much fun. They sang some Christmas songs and a few songs they have learned since the beginning of school. They also recited a really cute poem. Kam is not shy at all (not that, that is a surprise to anyone....) I'm so glad these 2 are able to go to school together and spend time together. They really are best friends and I am so grateful for that!

5 Months

This little girl is 5 months old! She is rolling from her tummy to her back and somewhat from her back to her tummy. She is still a little wobbly while sitting on her own but is getting better. She loves her bottle still and likes food but does not LOVE it yet. She is talking more and loves her floor time, her sister's are constant entertainment and watching them takes up most of her day. She is such a sweet baby still and is very, very mellow I just love her to pieces.

This morning she weighed 12 Pounds 4 ounces - it was a home scale so not sure how accurate it was but I don't have time to take her in to be weighed so we will see where she is at next month!

Addi's Christmas Program

Addi had her annual Christmas program for school last week. Their theme this year was Christmas movies - it was really cute they played clips from a lot of the famous Christmas movies that we all watch every year. The Muppets Christmas Carol, Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, Polar Express etc. Addi sang her absolute favorite song off the Polar Express - When Christmas Comes to Town. She did an excellent job as well as the rest of the school. I absolutely love their Christmas program every year and her school does such an awesome job. She was so excited to wear her new Christmas dress and she looked so beautiful - can't believe how grown up my baby is now!

Winter Dance Recital

Last week the girls had their Winter Dance Recital - this was Kam's very first Recital and it was so fun to watch her. They both did their Ballet Lyrical dances and then Addi clogged right after the dancing portion was over. Kam absolutely loved performing and was the star of the show - she was front and center and did her dance so well! Addi of course did a fabulous job and her dances are so cute this year. I'm excited for the year end recital to see how much they both learn this year!

Christmas Tree Hunting & Decorating

Ok I'm a few weeks behind - not anything out of the ordinary! A few weekends ago we packed up the kids and went Christmas Tree Hunting. Addi was traveling with my dad coming back from Arizona so she didn't get to go with us for the actual Tree Hunt. So we packed up Kaylee and brought her with us as well! The girls had fun playing in the snow and pointing at the gigantic trees everywhere - deciding which one would look good in our house. We finally found one that was bare at the bottom but really full at the top so Jake chopped it down and just cut off the top. (We later realized it wasn't as full as we thought....) After we cut the tree down we headed to pick up Addi, drop off Kaylee and head home to decorate. We got all of the Christmas ornaments out turned up the Christmas music and the kids had a blast decorating the tree. They did a great job I didn't help much just filled in the gaps way up top because they couldn't reach. Lauren & Beau came over and helped us which was a lot of fun the guys went outside and put up the lights on the outside (which was pretty amusing). It was warm enough we were outside on the porch swing watching them put up the lights - didn't really feel like Christmas since there was no snow thankfully it snowed later that week!

Thanksgiving

Well I am behind writing my Thankful post this year - but I feel I really need to do it because I am so Thankful for so many things!

I am so Thankful for my amazing husband. He does so much for our family, he works so hard to make sure that we have everything we need. He is so good with the girls whether it be helping with homework, taking them for rides, building fires with them, taking them on lunch dates, driving them to school or just joking around with them he always makes sure to include them in everything. He is such a sweetheart to me (I know we are pretty sarcastic sometimes) but he always makes sure that I know how much he loves me. I could not ask for a better husband/father than what we have - Thank you honey!

I am so Thankful for my Addi - she has the sweetest spirit and is always thinking of other people. She is so smart & does incredible in school and anything else she sets her mind too. She is so spunky and is always making up songs and sings them on her homemade stages in front of everyone. She loves to dance and you can tell she just feels at home when she is up on the stage. She has a heart of gold and I hope that never changes - Love you Addi.

I am so Thankful for Kambri - this girl does everything imaginable to keep me on my toes. I absolutely love her witty sense of humor and her constant come backs - there is an endless supply of them. She is constantly the center of attention and loves to be the star of the show - everywhere she goes she captures the attention of anyone around. While she is very humorous she is also the sweetest kid you will ever meet. Family means more to her than anything she will just out of the blue give you sweet hugs and kisses and tell you how much she loves you. Nothing makes her happier then when her whole family is together. :) Keep shining Kam you'll go far in life.

I am so Thankful for Aria - This time last year I was positive I was miscarrying because of my Placenta Previa. I thought for sure I wouldn't be holding a baby this year and we'd have to try again. But God was smiling down on me and now I am holding a beautiful, happy, healthy baby girl who lights up the whole room with her sweet smile. She has touched the lives of many in her short 4 month existence and we couldn't be happier to have her complete our family. I love you Aria your tiny sweet spirit was the missing piece to our family puzzle.

I am so Thankful for my parents I can't even begin to describe everything they do for me. They help out so much with the kids and are always willing to do anything for them without hesitation. They are the most supportive people I have ever met and I can't imagine my life without them. My kids are so incredibly lucky to have them as am I.

I am so Thankful for Randy - he does so much for my family as well. He did such an amazing job raising my husband to become the man that he is today. He is always so thoughtful when it comes to the girls and their needs and they absolutely love spending time with him. I am grateful that him and his sweet family loved all of us and accepted us with love and open arms - I feel like I've been part of the family my whole life and I couldn't ask for a better family to be a part of.

I am so Thankful for my brother & sister and their families. I absolutely love each one of my nieces and nephews for their amazing personalities and how different they all are. Thank you all for giving me the gift of being an Aunt to them they all mean the world to me. Even though I know we don't all get to spend a lot of time together I know that you all have my back and would do anything for me or my family and I appreciate all of your support.

I am also Thankful for Technology, Modern Medicine, Running Water, Electricity, A Warm Home, A Full Fridge, A Good Job, My Husband's Job, School, Dance, Sports, Music, Health, Happiness and Love.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving I know I certainly did & I am so blessed with great family and friends. You all mean the world to me - Love you!

Family Pictures - Part 1

Jess did an amazing job again with our family pictures! We drove up to a ranch near Panguitch Lake - it was cold and extremely cloudy. By the end of the session all of the kids were crying so we are going to do a mini session in a few weeks and get the rest of the pictures done. :) But I absolutely love how all of these turned out!
