Fall Festivities & Halloween

These pictures are all over the place - but I suppose when you're a month behind it's ok. :) We took a fall trip up to Salt Lake towards the end of October. We experience Cornbelly's for the very first time and it was a lot of fun. The kids went down slides, played in corn, went through lots of mazes, ate junk food and had so much fun playing with the other kids. We stayed at Thanksgiving Point and then went to the Zoo the next day! It was a nice little getaway and was fun for the kids.

We also had fun going to Addi's school carnival although it was pretty dead this year because it was on a Friday! Addi dressed up as Maleficent, Kam was of course Elsa & Aria was Wonderwoman & Tinkerbell. (Yep she had 2 costumes) We went Trick-or-Treating with Lauren & Deagen (who was a skunk) and just ended up hanging out at my parents house for most of the night!

Family Pictures

We had our annual family pictures taken last week and they turned out fantastic! :) Even when the kids are being stinkers Jess manages to capture them just beautifully. 

Pumpkin Patch

Kam had her 1st field trip this year to Judd's Pumpkin Patch in Paragonah. She had so much fun picking out her pumpkins (1 for her & 1 for Addi) and I am glad I was able to go with them. Kam's best friend Tyler insisted her ride with her instead of his mom and they were inseparable the whole time!

Lake Powell

A couple of weekends ago we were lucky enough to enjoy the end of summer fun with a much needed trip to Lake Powell. It's been a few years since I've been there and the kids had never been so it was a lot of fun doing something with them that I loved doing as a kid! My mom found an awesome deal on a houseboat and we were lucky enough to get a ski boat right before we left. We wakeboarded, kneeboarded, skied & went tubing for 3 days straight. The kids played endlessly in the water and made sand castles on the beach.We also enjoyed a little bit of rainy weather, a lightning storm & 3 beautiful sunsets! Nothing beats an awesome family vacation like this one!
