I have made a card to celebrate the 90 Bday of my Aunt- the oldest person in our family. We all met together and celebrated this day with joy and fun.

Can you believe the Bday girl danced and drank champagne?

I wish I could be so lively.......

Winter House

Today we start another new challenge over at Mixed Media Mojo.

The theme is Winter Holidays with the twist Sparkle.

With this piece I am saying good bye to Mixed Mojo Team and wanted to thank Maria and all the girls for a wonderful time I had with them. Big hugs to you all!

 I have altered an old wooden house to make it home decor for the holiday season.

It looked just that:

I gave it a good coat of white Deco Art Crackle Paint.

Then I have used navy blue Twinkling H2o's and Metallic Gilding Wax for the edges.

                                                              

The chipboard piece was heat embossed with gold and cooper.

                                                                    

To finish my piece off I added some glitter, beads and stamped wishes.

Layer it Up......

As always what you make,  the mediums and style you use is entirely up to yourselves, as long as you keep to the theme.

I have altered a mini (10 cm) whisky bottle.

Butterfly

Hi! Today I want to share an altered plastic butterfly hanging. 
I used a piece of lace which I fussy cut and glued to the surface to add some texture.
The whole piece was covered with gesso and treated with Gelatos.
Then Deco Art Crackle Glaze was applied both to wings and the chipboard spoon.
To finish off I added some metal parts from my junk.

Sto Lat!

It is 1st November today and it means a new challenge over at Mixed Media Mojo. Our theme is Autumn with the twist Metallics.

My take on the theme is a Bday card I have made using the chocolates package,

simply because I liked the texture of it a lot.

I have used lots of Inka Gold  metal gloss paint( Apricot and Copper) and also

Metallic Gilding Wax (Deep Red). The background was also stamped for more textured look.

I've also stamped and fussy cut the leaves.

The main panel is a part of a masterboard I made earlier.

To finish off I added a metal leaf, some twine and red ,,berries''.

,,Sto lat'' is the most popular polish bday wish.

Handmade by You

It is time for another challenge over at Try it on Tuesday

                                                   

Our theme is Handmade by You which means that no digis or shop bought embellishments are allowed.

I have made a card using a masterboard I've prepared some time ago.

I followed this tutorial to prepare my embellishments. I have also stamped and fussy cut the flowers.

In the Woods

I have made a card for October Birthday Girl inspired by the latest walk in the wood. It was very windy and the leaves were dancing in the air.

I started with some masterboards, just playing with autumn colours and textures.

    

I used them not only for my background but for leaves and twigs as well.

I've also used some red fruit( don't know the name of the plant) I collected during my walk.

To finish off I added some stamping, some thin gold wire, sequins and brads.
