Easter

This year we had Easter at our house with my family. Not everyone could be there, but we still had a good time. 
Sierra, Jeff and Faye came to our house before we got home from church to hide the eggs for Everly and Faye. My mom and Pike made it there early too. Everly is so much fun to watch find eggs. She gets so excited.
We had lunch after they found their eggs and then colored the boiled ones.
We didn't think the girls would be as interested in coloring eggs as they were. We only did a dozen and Faye and Everly both cried after we ran out of eggs to color. We love coloring the brown eggs we get from the chickens. They turn out so earthy and gorgeous. Next year we have made note do boil more eggs.

 

Winnie's Blessing Dress / 4 Months

Winnie's blessing dress was nothing short of perfection. It was made by Mary Ellen. She called me up and asked if she could make her dress. The sweetest thing. Even the slip had detail in it. She also made the beautiful heart blanket for her. I am in love. I will say it again. I am in love.

Winnie turned 4 Months old on March 16th. She is getting bigger and sweeter.

This is what she has been up to:
Plays with her feet
Sits up in her bumbo chair
Sucks her thumb a lot
Laughs hysterically at Everly.

Winnie's Blessing Day

Winnie was blessed Sunday March 6th 2016. She wore the most beautiful dress made by Mary Ellen. Completely perfect. This day was a little chilly and cloudy and rainy. My grandma Jones sent me a sweet text message that morning telling me how the Lord will shine his light on this special day. And right before or right after, (I can't remember which) the sun shined through the windows of the church. I know my grandma didn't necessarily mean actual sunlight, but that and his love was radiating through the windows. It was beautiful. We felt so much love with all those who came and from all those who wanted to come.

Winnie Margaret - 3 Months

Winnie Margaret is 3 months old!

She sucks her thumb.
She is starting to grab things and stick them in her mouth.
She likes to squeal and talk and smile.
She is a squirmy little thing.
She giggles and laughs.

We love our little chuggies (a name Everly calls her when she pinches her little 'chuggy' cheeks)!

Winnie Margaret - 2 Months

Winnie is 2 months old! 

1.25.16 - 10 lbs 7 oz, 23" long

She is smiling and cooing. She sleeps so great. She is loved like crazy. She makes this home so much more crazy, but I wouldn't change a thing.
