IT'S OFFICIAL. In October, Logan received his "Arrow of Light" award. Bruce & I have no more cub scout sons.. ever! (except I'm still a den leader, ha ha)

 Then within a week of becoming an 11 year old scout, Logan had a campout! Woo-hoo for Boy Scouts and real camping!

*Logan was so excited for this campout. His leaders passed out little sheets of facts the boys were to memorize. Logan took it so seriously. He kept the sheet with himself and worked on it all week. He was having me quiz him on the ride over to the church. I love that boy.

Lucky Logan... LAGOON!

 FALL BREAK

LAGOON for the Birthday Boy!!
with his cousin Gabe-the-Babe...
Image
Logan talked about this for the whole month before the trip. His birthday party at LAGOOamusement park in SLC. We left Sophie and Lily home with RayeAnn & Jessica (BEST idea ever) and took Nate-the-Great and Gabe-the-Babe with us!
Image
Turns out every October, LAGOON is  decorated for Halloween... FRIGHTMARES! In the day time it was all good. But come night time... there were hollywood quality zombies walking around everywhere. Let me just say:  It... freaked... Dallin.... out! ha ha. Legitimately it messed with his mind. He hated them. We laughed. So many funny stories about getting followed and freaked out by Zombies all night. ie... Logan hiding in the sub shop to get away from one, wouldn't cross the street because there was a Zombie near by, falling over, screaming... and possibly tears. ha ha. It was a good night.

It was sooooo awesome to just hang out with our older 4 kids!!!! Turns out they are funny. We laughed and laughed. And they are NOT afraid of roller coasters. {Crazy Cat Lady below}

We had never been to LAGOON. I was thinking it would look like a glorified State Fair. It was much nicer than I imagined. I was SO impressed with the elaborate landscapes and ride theming. We loved it!

Props to Nate-the-Greatabove. Turns out, he hates rollercoasters. Like, he won't even go on them. They freak him out. We didn't really realize that before we took him. He only went on a couple rides all day. His parents offered via phone multiple times to pick him up if he wasn't having fun. But SO SWEET, he never wanted to leave. He kept saying it was worth it just to be able to spend the day with us, since he never gets to. It made me a little teary actually later thinking about it. He was willing to go through a little embarrassment having us see his fear of roller-casters, because it meant that much to him to hang out with his cousin Dallin. Aaaaaaaw, that sweet Nater. He partied with us in all the lines though!! We loved having him there with us!!! We love him!!!
Image
{for the record, he was NOT afraid of zombies like Dallin was though}

 We had TWO birthdays during our Utah Trip this year! 3 days after Lily's birthday Logan woke up to his birthday breakfast at the Spackmans! Logan was SO excited because for his birthday we spent saturday as a family with his 2 cousins at 'LAGOON'!! (next post)

So much fun with the Spackmans! The kids get along great. Steve and RayeAnn are awesome. (I wish I could be as dedicated to fitness as she is...) So sad we don't live closer! Turns out: Cousin Jessica has a BEAUTIFUL voice! Her and Dallin had some jam sessions...

 Logan was obsessed with trains for like 3 years when he was little. We still tease him and whenever we see a train say, "Logan, a train!!" ha ha. He secretly still loves it.
