Biblical Prayer for the Persecuted and the Church Worldwide
(Voice of the Persecuted) We invite you to join us tonight in a prayer conference call for the persecuted church hosted by Persecution Watch.
Isaiah 30:15 “This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy one of Israel says, ‘In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it’.”
- Pray that those who are waging war against the persecuted stop to question and reflect about what they have been taught regarding slaughtering others to find the truth and repent.
- Pray believers increase their faith and trust in the LORD in the midst of the storm.
Isaiah 30:21 “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it’.”
- Pray believers hear the advice of the Holy Spirit clearly to know what to do.
Acts 14:6,7 “But they found out about it and fled to the Lycaonian cities of Lystra and Derbe and to the surrounding country, where they continued to preach the good news.”
- Pray Christians know when to stay and when to flee. Pray that they have many opportunities to preach the gospel in refugee camps or wherever they have fled.
Acts 14:3 “So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the LORD, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to do miraculous signs and wonders.”
- Pray believers will be as bold as possible, performing miraculous signs and wonders.
Acts 14:22 “Strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. ‘We must go through many hardships to enter the Kingdom of God, they said.’ “
- Pray that church leaders and Christian missions are strengthened and encourage other Christians.
- Pray new believers will be discipled.
John 10:12 “The hired hand is not the shepherd who owns the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the sheep and scatters it.”
- Pray false shepherds who care more for themselves than the sheep or teach the Word in error will be exposed. May they repent or be replaced.
Proverbs 28:12 “When the righteous triumph, there is great elation; but when the wicked rise to power, men go into hiding.”
- Pray wicked leaders be brought down and replaced with those submitted to and guided by the Lord.
Proverbs 26:27 “If a man digs a pit, he will fall into it; if a man rolls a stone, it will fall back on him.”
- Pray the wicked become trapped in their own wicked plans. That their plans will not prosper, but boomerang against them.
Proverbs 20:7 “The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him.”
- Pray for the children of all faithful Christians that they follow in the ways of the LORD.
Prayers from Israeli ministry:
The Israeli Supreme Court has changed the original definition of a Jew in order to prevent Messianic Jews from making Aliyah.
- Pray this decision will be reversed and changed to its original definition.
Messianic ministries in Israel are experiencing the same persecution as in other nations in regard to renting space, or trumped up violations of building codes to close them down. Hotels also often refuse to hold Messianic Jewish conferences while embracing Christian ones.
- Pray ministries in Israel and other countries will be able to obtain permits and the necessary space needed. Pray for open doors.
This ministry states, also from much experience, that “You cannot find a New Testament or any commentary books on Yeshua in any major bookstore in Israel.” Yet they have no problem carrying the Quran and even books on the devil (for intellectual studies).
- Pray book stores would carry the New Testament in Hebrew and Christian books that have been written or translated.
- Pray people all over the world have access to the Word.
Radio stations have the same problem. A broadcast license was approved for a Messianic Hebrew radio station called “Shelanu”, but when they found out it was going to be in Hebrew by believers, it was immediately cancelled.
- Pray for Messianic broadcasts to go forth in Israel and every other nation so people may hear the good news.
Again, we want to lift-up these persecuted witnesses to the Lord:
Leah Sharibu, a prisoner of Boko Haram since 2018. Pray for her release.
Pastor Wang Yi to be released from prison, for his family and for the church.
Pastors Haile Nayzgi and Dr. Kiflu GebremeskelIt is unconscionable that these two men, along with Pastor Meron Gebreselasie who was arrested a month later, remain imprisoned under horrible conditions in Eritrea.
The Harvest: “37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38
Please join us in prayer.

What is Persecution Watch?
Persecution Watch is a U.S. national prayer conference call ministry that prays specifically for the global Persecuted Church. For over a decade, Blaine Scogin led this national network of believers who faithfully pray for the persecuted and the global harvest for the Kingdom of God. The group meets via a free call-in service every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday night at 9pm Eastern time in the United States (please check your time zone). Blaine also served as Prayer Director for Voice of the Persecuted, and the two missions became one. Brother Blaine passed into glory on December 26, 2019. It was truly a blessing for all of us to serve alongside this dear man of God. The prayer mission of Persecution Watch remains an important part of our mission. The Voice of the Persecuted is committed to continuing the prayer conference call for the persecuted along with the dedicated Persecution Watch prayer warrior team.
Prior to the passing of Brother Blaine, he confirmed the passing of the torch as prayer conference call leader to Nadia Dybvik. Nadia has a burdened heart for the persecuted and is a prayer warrior standing in the gap for them. She joined the Persecution Watch prayer team in 2015 and has been part of the core ever since. Before becoming the prayer call leader, she served in the role of prayer moderator since 2016. Blaine chose Nadia for her faithfulness to pray for the persecuted and her strong commitment to the Persecution Watch mission. We are blessed not only with her gift of prayer, but her genuine love for every brother and sister in Christ that comes on the call to pray. May the Lord continue to bless Nadia, the prayer warrior team in the mission and their personal lives.
“Pray for us” is the number one request that we hear from the persecuted. As the members of the first century Church, the Holy Spirit moved them to pray. We too must continue to serve those suffering persecution by lifting them up to the Lord through prayer.
On occasion, persecuted brothers and sisters join the conference call and share the trials they are facing. The team serves to encourage them by washing their feet in Spirit led prayer. Time will be reserved for those on the call to ask questions. We believe this helps to gain a better understanding of the situation that persecuted Christians endure in their specific nations. Q&A helps us to focus our prayers based on their current needs.
Persecution Watch also hosts callers who want to pray united from other nations. If your heart is perplexed by the sufferings of our persecuted brothers and sisters, you no longer need to pray alone.
We welcome all who desire to pray for the persecuted church and consider it a joy to pray together with you. If you are new to the call and cannot find your voice, listen in, and pray silently or on mute. We are grateful and thank the Lord for bringing us all together to pray in agreement for our persecuted family in Christ. We can all be prayer warriors on this call!
God bless and protect you in your faithfulness to serve.

Let us Pray for The Persecuted
(Voice of the Persecuted) We invite you to join us tonight in a prayer conference call for the persecuted church hosted by Persecution Watch.
Tonight, we want to focus on issues which affect believers across the world. Our prayers will be guided by several scriptures.
Prayer Points:
Daniel 3:12 NKJV
There are certain Jews whom you have set over the affairs of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego; these men, O king, have not paid due regard to you. They do not serve your gods or worship the gold image which you have set up.”
- Pray for those who are persecuted through the laws of the land.
Matthew 10:35-37 NKJV
[35] For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; [36] and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ [37] He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
- Pray for those who are demanded by their families to return to a specific religion or tradition instead of worshipping Christ.
I Corinthians 15:58 NKJV
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
- Pray that the church would be steadfast in times of persecution.
Romans 12:12-13 NKJV
[12] rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; [13] distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
- Pray that believers would devote themselves to praying for the persecuted and sending aid as often as possible.
Psalms 23:4 NKJV
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
- Pray for believers who cannot have fellowship with other believers because they are imprisoned or are the only believer within their vicinity.
I Peter 5:8-9 NKJV
[8] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. [9] Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
- Pray that believers who live in parts of the world where persecution is still mild would be alert and prepared as we see the coming the Lord drawing nearer.
Psalms 82:3-4 NKJV
[3] Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. [4] Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked.
- Pray for the widows, widowers and orphans whose husbands, wives and parents have been murdered due to war, terrorism and other conflicts.
Psalms 56:6-9 NKJV
[6] They gather together, They hide, they mark my steps, When they lie in wait for my life. [7] Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the peoples, O God! [8] You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book? [9] When I cry out to You, Then my enemies will turn back; This I know, because God is for me.
- Pray for the girls and women who have been kidnapped, raped, abused and/or forced to marry someone who is not apart of the Christian faith.
Psalms 5:12 NKJV
For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
- Pray for the believers who fled their countries or provinces in search of a better life elsewhere.
Isaiah 41:10 NKJV
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
- Pray for believers who have to endure life in internally displaced peoples or refugee camps.
I Timothy 2:1-4 NKJV
[1] Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, [2] for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. [3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, [4] who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
- Pray for the salvation of families, government officials and other citizens who persecute the servants of the Lord.

Persecution Watch: Pray for Christians and Muslims during Ramadan
(Voice of the Persecuted) We invite you to join us tonight in a prayer conference call for the persecuted church hosted by Persecution Watch.
Dear Prayer Warriors, we invite you tonight to pray with us for the believers in Morocco from our dear Br S.
From Living Stones International: Ramadan’s Heightened Tension/Christians Must Tread Even More Carefully
‘My Dear Prayer Partner,
I am writing to you, hoping you and your family are well. I am writing to you while my country is experiencing unusual rains and storms, and there is a lot of flooding. The authorities have relocated approximately 120,000 people to neighboring towns and villages. Due to the heavy rains, there is a dam that is feared to fail and flood the entire city below it. The flooding in my home city has caused much hardship as well. We are trying to use small boats and large trucks to evacuate people from their homes. Many families are clinging to their homes and do not want to leave. We have started providing some aid, including for children, in some of the affected areas.
It’s a difficult time, especially with the start of the month of Ramadan, and I feel a lot of pressure on us, the Christians living in this Islamic country. This year, Ramadan started on February 17th and ends on March 19th, 2026.
While many Muslims sincerely seek God during this month, it can also be a period of intense spiritual darkness and pressure for Christians. Many believers feel isolated within their own family, community, and in the workplace. We don’t have the freedom to be Christians or to openly profess our faith within these communities.
Let me share with you some stories of what our brothers and sisters are going through during these circumstances, or what they are preparing for this month.
Mohsen and his extremist Salafist family, and Ramadan:
Brother Mohsen, 26 years old, is a believer in Christ. As Ramadan approached, I spoke with him a week ago, and he was very afraid because during Ramadan he will be forced to go with his family to pray in the mosque, even though he believes in Christ. He asked me to pray for him a lot and for these circumstances. He asked me how he should handle this situation. Honestly, I didn’t know how to answer him. I told him I would pray for him so that God would give him wisdom to respond to his family’s demands.
Pray that God gives him wisdom and that he is able to respond in a Godly way to them.
Pray that God grants him wisdom and patience during these circum-stances.
Brother Anas, longing for his family.
We thank God for Brother Anas, a 22-year-old university student who is diligent in his studies and strong in his faith. Recently, his family discovered a Bible in his bedroom. When they realized he was following Christ, they immediately forced him to leave their home and disowned him.
Anas is now living in a shared room in a rented house, continuing his education while adjusting to life without the support of his family. When I visited him, he spoke honestly about the pain he carries. “My dear brother,” he said, “I longed for the family gatherings, especially over Ramadan, for the food and the fellowship.” Then, through tears, he asked me, “Should I return to the family?”
His grief was deep, and I later realized that I, too, had been moved to tears. I reminded him that although his earthly family has rejected him, he has brothers and sisters in Christ and the church are praying for him.
Please pray that the Lord will give Anas wisdom and discernment to make decisions according to God’s heart, and that he will continue to find strength and comfort in the family of faith.
How You Can Pray
Pray for the Church – that believers will stand firm, gather for fellowship when possible, and find encouragement despite isolation.
Pray for New Believers – many are experiencing their first Ramadan as followers of Christ.
Pray for wisdom, courage, and steadfast faith.
Pray for Seekers – that those searching for truth will encounter Christ, and that doors will open for the gospel to be shared.
Pray for divine appointments and bold witness.
Thank you for standing with us in prayer. Your intercession truly makes a difference in the lives of persecuted believers.
May the Lord richly bless you,
Brother S”
Precious Saints, please pray for Br S and his ministry for his protection, provision, wisdom. How to help, provide and encourage the believers in time of need. Source: Living Stones International

Persecution Watch: Pray for Believers in Yemen
(Voice of the Persecuted) We invite you to join us tonight in a prayer conference call for the persecuted church hosted by Persecution Watch.
YEMEN: Population 36 million, Christians a few thousand
The dangers facing Christians in Yemen continue to escalate amid an unrelenting tide of conflict, extremism and economic collapse.
The indigenous church consists mainly of converts from Islam, who must practice their faith in absolute secrecy. Discovery as a Christian can be deadly because in Yemen apostasy is legally punishable by death. Believers can also suffer in other ways, including divorce and separation from their children. Yemen’s fragmented, weak rule of law only increases the dangers facing Christians.
Non-Islamic groups cannot formally register with the authorities, and places of worship that are not Muslim haven’t been authorized for years. Most non-Yemeni Christians have fled the country because of the danger, with many registered churches either ransacked or destroyed. It means that Yemen’s native Christian population comprises mostly converts who must gather in secret – and at enormous risk.
While all Yemenis suffer under one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises, Christians are particularly vulnerable. Emergency aid is typically distributed through mosques to local Muslims, who discriminate against those not considered to be devout Muslims.
Native Christian population facing severe dangers from the Houthi movement, extremists, and societal pressure.
Converts from Islam risk the death penalty for apostasy, as well as abduction and torture. Over 20 Christians were detained by Houthi forces in late 2025-early 2026.
Key details of persecution in Yemen:
Legal & Societal Threats: Conversion from Islam to Christianity is not legally recognized, and apostasy is punishable by death Converts often face threats from their own tribes and families
Targeted Abductions: Houthi forces have launched campaigns of detention, particularly in 2025 and early 2026, targeting the small Christian minority for kidnapping and disappearing.
Infrastructure Destruction: Many churches have been destroyed or confiscated.
Humanitarian Aid Discrimination: Aid is often distributed through mosques, with reports of Christians being denied access to essential food and supplies.
The Christian population, formerly larger, has shrunk significantly as many have fled the ongoing conflict, leaving only a few thousand or fewer to practice their faith in complete secrecy.

Pray for North Korea & Iran
(Voice of the Persecuted) We invite you to join us tonight in a prayer conference call for the persecuted church hosted by Persecution Watch.
Christian persecution in North Korea makes it one of the hardest places in the world to practice the Christian faith. An official church called the Korean Christian Federation exists, but it is doubtful whether it is a genuine church. Instead, the Korean Christian Federation is probably maintained to provide the false impression of religious liberty.
The State is the primary persecutor of Christianity in North Korea because they divide the population into three groups. Christians are classified as “hostile” according to this system. The “hostile” class is significantly disadvantaged in access to food, education and employment. Worse, this classification is historic. One is “hostile” if one’s grandparents once professed Christianity.
North Korea is terrifyingly organized around a cult with the characteristics of an extreme religion. Persecuted Christians in North Korea represent a threat to the worship monopoly of the regime. Despite this, Christians do exist, but only in extremely secret house churches. These small house churches are organized along family lines to preserve safety.
Some NGOs estimate that 50-70,000 Christians languish in North Korean labor camps. They report conditions comparable to Nazi death camps. Said one refugee, “If it is known you are a Christian, you are jailed. And you will never get out of jail unless you escape.”
However, estimates of 200,000+ Christians persist, even though rampant Christian persecution in North Korea. This is mainly due to the fact that in the late 1990s, more than a million North Koreans fled a famine into China. Many of these refugees converted to Christianity and returned to North Korea despite the danger. Then-leader Kim Jong II warned them not to return if they had become “contaminated with foreign religion”. Source
Prayer Points for North Korea:
- Pray that all North Koreans would be exposed to the truth and turn from all false ideologies.
- Pray that God would strengthen all North Korean believers.
- Pray for those families or individuals who are being held in the labor camps.
- Pray that God would confuse the enemy so that they would be unable to seek out and find believers.
- Pray for God’s favor so that believers or descendants of believers’ needs would be supplied.
- Pray that the Word of God and God’s faithfulness would be passed from adults to children so that faith in God is preserved from generation to generation.
We also want to pray for Iran using these prayer points from Open Doors USA:
- Pray for peace, protection and wisdom for the people of Iran and the wider region amid violence and uncertainty.
- Pray for comfort for families who have lost loved ones and for the lives of all citizens to be protected.
- Pray for families facing economic hardship, that the Lord would provide their daily bread.
- Pray for children who are afraid and confused, that God would be their Comforter and protect their hearts and minds.
- Pray for those injured, both physically and psychologically, to receive divine healing and emotional restoration.
- Pray for Christians in these countries to remain vessels of hope, faith and light to their neighbors.
- Pray for leaders and decision-makers worldwide to act justly and wisely and speak boldly for freedom of religion and belief.
- Pray for Christian converts in detention, and for all believers held in custody, that they would be protected from any harm and released swiftly.
- Pray for courage and hope among Iranian Christians, that even in loss and fear, they would know that they’re not forgotten and not alone. Pray that they will rely on God these days.

A Christian Response of the Present Conflict in Iran
(Voice of the Persecuted) We invite you to join us tonight in a prayer conference call for the persecuted church hosted by Persecution Watch.
Dear prayer warriors in light on what’s going on in the world, I’m sharing with you an overview by Frank Mceleny, a dear friend and brother in the Lord.
(A Call To The Remnant) 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧’𝐬 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬. War is not an interruption of history but one of its permanent features. Scripture teaches that we live in a fallen world, and history confirms the testimony. Nations rise and nations fall. Borders shift. People displace people. From the ancient empires of the East to the kingdoms of Europe, from Rome’s conquest of Britain to the Angles and Saxons, the Viking invasions, and the Norman conquest, the same pattern appears again and again. History is written in the language of struggle.
The American continent bears the same mark. The Cheyenne yielded the Black Hills to the Lakota through conflict, and the Lakota in turn lost that same territory to the expanding United States. This is not an exception but an illustration. War and power have always been instruments by which the political order of the world is formed. The world, as it exists, is not a garden but a wilderness, and it has been so since the fall of man.
Christians must begin here if they are to think clearly. This present order is not our home in any moral sense. We belong to another kingdom. Yet we are required to live in this one, and we are commanded to see it as it truly is. Sentimentality is no substitute for truth.
When tyrannies collapse and iron curtains fall, there is reason to rejoice for those who are freed from oppression. Such rejoicing does not sanctify the instruments by which that freedom comes, nor does it purify the motives of those who wield power. It simply acknowledges that relief has come to those who suffered under despotism. Imperfect instruments may still bring real deliverance.
Christians are called neither to blind nationalism nor to naïve idealism. The Scriptures command us to seek peace, yet they also acknowledge that rulers exist to restrain evil in a violent world. Power vacuums do not remain empty. If one nation withdraws, another will advance. The question is never whether power will shape the world, but whose power it will be.
Would the world be safer under the dominance of Russia? Or China? Or India? Or North Korea? Perhaps even Iran? Power will rule in this fallen world; the only question is which power, and to what end.
Many speak as though the exercise of power were itself the great evil, yet history teaches that the absence of ordered power often produces something darker still. Idealistic visions detached from reality offer little comfort to those who must live under tyranny. The world will not be governed by dreams but by forces strong enough to impose their will.
The Christian perspective is neither naïve nor despairing. Believers understand that they are in the world but not of it. They are called to see clearly and to judge soberly. Scripture does not promise that the present age will culminate in peace among nations. Rather, it teaches that the world will continue in conflict until the final kingdom of God is revealed.
Consider one final example. George S. Patton was by many accounts a flawed man can , proud, ambitious, and often harsh. Yet when his Third Army broke through German lines during the Battle of the Bulge and relieved the surrounded soldiers at Bastogne, the men who had endured the siege did not pause to examine his character or analyze his motives. They cared that relief had come.
So, it is in the affairs of nations. Men act from mixed motives, ambition, necessity, calculation, and sometimes principle.
The purposes behind intervention in places such as Iran may be complex and imperfect. Yet if the day comes when ordinary people find themselves delivered from the rule of harsh clerical tyranny, it is unlikely that they will trouble themselves greatly with the philosophical purity of those who brought about that change.
Christians therefore must learn to think with steady minds. This world will never be redeemed by political power, yet neither will it be preserved from evil by wishful thinking. We are called to live as strangers and pilgrims, seeing clearly the broken order around us while fixing our hope on a kingdom not made by human hands.
𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝, 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠.
Here are just some of the relevant Scriptures:
“You will hear of wars and rumors of wars but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.” Matthew 24:6
“What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you?” James 4:1
“A time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace” Ecclesiastes 3:8
“1 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.” Romans 13:1–4
“13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, 14 or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. 1 Peter 2:13–14
“We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.” 1 John 5:19
“33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
“1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy.” 2 Timothy 3:1–2
“The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?” Jeremiah 17:9
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” Genesis 50:20
“ 7 He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, 8 the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous. 9 The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.” Psalm 146:7–9
“When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices; when the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy.” Proverbs 11:10
“But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Philippians 3:20
13 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. 14 People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. 15 If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.” Hebrews 11:13–16
“44 “In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.” Daniel 2:44
“The Seventh Trumpet
15 The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.” Revelation 11:15
“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” Psalm 20:7
He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.” Micah 4:3
