getting so big

so glad we got to be in st. george for the birth of little jack.  can't believe amy and derrick have 5 kids.  baby jack is darling.  can't quite pin point who he looks like though.

all in a week.

the weather this winter has been kind of weird.  and weird in a good way.  we haven't had much snow!  which for me.... is.awesome!  so whatever day it snowed last week the boys were dying to go play in it.  so i thought what the hay.  even if it was at 9am.  i bundled them up and sent them out.  they had fun!  but its crazy how it went from this:

 to this with just a couple days in between.  

sunday was awesome.  the entire neighborhood was out riding bikes and going for walks.  the park was flooded with kids running around like crazy.  it was pretty funny.  

 back to another snow picture.  this picture kills me.  they wanted goggles on.

 and now back to the sun.  cute will sitting on the grass yesterday enjoying the sun.  

i cannot wait for this weather to stay for good!! yippee!

big changes

we've had some big changes at the tatton home as of recent.  we finally bit the bullet and moved henry into sam's room so we could move will out of our bathroom and into his own room.  it has been so nice!  i'm so glad henry, for whatever reason, started to want to sleep with sam in his bed with him.  and sam was actually kind of excited about it.  so for about a week henry and sam were sleeping in sams twin bed together.  i was surprised at how awesome they were with going to bed.  there were a couple nights where they both kept coming out but for the most part they would fall asleep so fast.  i was dying.  so after a week of that we decided we needed to hurry and get henry his own bed before he decided he liked his crib again.    the room is tiny so its a little tight with both beds.  i couldn't do the bunk bed thing.  my kids would be jumping and flying off that thing constantly!  ha.   it would have been a totally space saver but  i just couldn't do it.  anyhow... they have been doing awesome.  henry still naps great..  i was more nervous about that than anything.  but he is a champ.  and lays right now and doesn't come out for at least 3 hours.    

and having will finally out of our room is awesome!  i can actually use my room and turn on the light and get ready in there.  and I'm sure will is a little more comfortable sleeping in an actual crib rather than the pack n play.  

i really love my little boys.  

7 months old

can hardly believe will is 7 months old today.  wow.  time is flying!

we love this kid so much!  so happy he is ours!

happy birthday, sam!!

today sam turned the big 6!  seems kind of crazy to me.  6 seems so old!  in 2 years he'll be getting baptized!  yikes!

sam has been talking about his birthday party for a couple months.  i was really trying to do the every other year thing and since he had a party last year I was hoping we could just do a family thing this year.  but we gave in:)  i think he looks forward to having a birthday party all year long.  so I'm glad we did it.

although, it was complete madness.  seriously.  from the second it started i think bronson and I were both ready for it to be over.  we had 15 kids here.  13 boys and 2 girls.  i let him make his own list of who he wanted to invite.  its hard knowing where to draw the line with the list.  so we just invited everyone on his list.  and everyone came.  except cousins luke and finn.  it was fun meeting his friends from his kindergarten class that he hangs around with:)

minus the fights here and there between a few kids it went pretty well.  we had pizza, cake and ice-cream and played a few games.  

now bronson, sam and henry are sitting on the floor building all the fun lego sets he got.  he really got spoiled.

i've been taking a few pictures here and there. i love taking pictures... but of my own family.  ha.  i don't like the pressure of taking pictures for other people a- because i really don't know what I'm doing and b- because its scary.  and it takes a lot of time to feed through them all and edit them.  anyhow.. here are a few as of recent.

this picture is for real.  I looked over and saw henry looking through my magazine.  i about died laughing.  and then about started crying.  ha.  not really but it did make me realize that its probably not a good idea to have those magazines sitting around.  they need to stay in my salon!

i took some pictures yesterday of will.  I have pictures of both sam and henry at this exact age like this so i thought i'd better hurry and take them before i forget.  he is just barely starting to sit up.  he fell back and bonked his head right when we were starting so he was kind of sad.  but I think i got some good ones.  i can't believe he is 5 1/2 months already.  this is such a great age!

These were taken a few months ago but I just got around to calling the picture company because they didn't send me the disc i ordered.  i got it in the mail today.  can't believe i have a kindergartner.  he is loving it.  and learning lots!

its 2012!

i can't believe its 2012!  we had such a fun christmas/new years!  Sad that its all over.  Bronson went back to work today after having a nice long break.  yesterday we spent the day cleaning and organizing closets, going through kids clothes, cupboards etc.  feels so good to actually get something done.  

i debated on for-going the kids naps today to go check out any christmas clearance stuff at a few stores but i talked myself out of it.  so now i've been working on editing some pictures i took of will that I'm so excited about.  man, that takes a long time.  

here are a few pics of will from yesterday.  while cleaning out the closets we found the jumper thing.  i think sam and henry had more fun watching him bounce in it than anything.  will is starting to sit up.  he hasn't quite mastered it yet so the bumbo helps.
