This year for Thanksgiving we invited Bryant's family from Utah to our home. That invitation turned into 13 people loading into a 15 passenger van and traveling 640 miles to arrive at our home on Thanksgiving morning. What a crowd! Bryant is the oldest of nine children, so when you take 6 brothers and 2 sisters with 3 sister-in-laws and one mom and one dad you get 13 people. They left on Wednesday night at 11 PM and arrived at our home at 8 AM Thursday morning. Needless to say they were exhausted. I had a few people passed out on my couches:

Bryant was in charge of the Turkey and stuffing....

We had 19 people (including 2 missionaries). We ate at the church, and decided to build a human pyramid.

Here is the whole gang after dinner.

We accomodated all 13 visitors at our home. We had blow up beds, cots, and lots of blankets strategically placed around our house to fit everybody. We even put a couple of people in the garage. It was a memorable experience. Everyone had a great time.
On Friday we visited San Francisco and stayed at a cheap hotel. All I can say is that the location was the best thing about this hotel. My sister-in-law found a couple of cockroaches in her room. Yuck! It was an adventure. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera so I don't have any pictures from our trip. We vistited Ghiradelli Square, Fisherman's Wharf and Union Square. My favorite part was riding on the Trolley and seeing the Macy's Christmas Tree in Union Square. The kids played and played and played some more. They went from uncle to uncle being chased and tickled and tossed around. We were sad to see them go home, but all good times must come to an end.
That was definately the most memorable Thanksgiving we have ever had.
