Extinct Animals

For this summer I decided to do a illustration series of Extinct Animals. I am so intrigued by how familiar and not familiar these animals are. I want to give these extinct animals a breath of new life and make people pay more attention to how lovely each of the animals were. Here are the first three of the series:

Part of my Strange News series which you can view more of on my Behance portfolio. This illustration is based off of a extremely obese wiener dog named Obie. Obie is adorable dog who just ate too much for his own good. Obie ended up loosing the weight and recently had to get a tummy tuck to remove the extra skin that he was carrying around. This Obie before his surgery.

Hemingway Portrait

A while ago, I was commissioned to do a pen portrait of Ernest Hemingway. I am more than pleased on how it turned out. The customer wanted paper with raw edges, so I hand ripped the paper to create a rough look.
