Boss just told me today that he's sending me down to SG for a one week training next month. Yay! :P

Meetings and More Meetings

These 2 weeks are filled with lotsa meetings and trainings etc... Today spent almost the whole day on meetings. Tomorrow got another briefing in the morning... phew.

Anyways, so far I still find this job quite interesting... except that there's not enough guidance, everything really have to depends on my "chap sang" (cantonese) skills... hahaha

On a side note, there are some auditors stationed at our office lately to do some auditing. Some of these girls are quite cute, but I've yet to get a chance to talk to anyone of them. :P

Ran out of ideas to blog lately... probably because of my job... even this post is talking about my job. :P

RIP... my friend

A forum friend of mine, STTee, was met with a fatal accident yesterday... see link.

It started today when another forum friend called me up somewhere after lunch time, trying to verify an SMS he received regarding STTee's demise. So I proceed to check with other forum friends and got the news verified. Later I called another friend who stays nearby and confirmed that it was true. Damn... this is very sad news... He leaves behind a widow and 3 kids... the youngest one barely 3 years old...

Life is really so fragile... We really should appreciate and treasure what we have...

May he rest in peace... :'(

Matta Fair

Got "kidnapped" by my buddy to Matta Fair in PWTC today. He is helping his parents to book a tour to China. Me? I just tag along for the heck of it since I've got nothing much to do on a lazy Sunday. Quite a big crowd there, and to tell the truth, this is the FIRST time I've set foot into Matta Fair... Can you believe that? LOL... Not bad la overall, saw some interesting travel packages, a lot of pretty chicks etc.

Umm... wanted to blog about something but better left unsaid... or unblogged. Hahaha... good night to all of you.

Conflict

2 of my colleagues got into a conflict last week due to some work issues. I was going to play the role of peace maker, but luckily things seem to go back to normal on the next day. Phew... I don't really know if it is because of my intervention or not, but as long as they are ok, I'm ok.

I'm very scared of witnessing conflicts among friends/colleagues, and I always try to be the peace maker, even though I know that being in such a position is a very 吃力不讨好 task. Conflicts create a very negative aura and I really dislike it. I've already quit 2 forums because of the flames and fights going on in those forums.

Happening Weekend

Went to Curve on Saturday with a bunch of ex colleagues to sing karaoke. Haven't really stepped into karaoke for a while, the last time was around xmas I think. Had a jolly good time.

After that we went to some house of pancake which my friend said is quite famous. But because we just had lunch over in the karaoke (lunch package), so didn't really ordered a lot. We just tried out 2 types of pancake, one sweet type (banana something) and one salty type (no idea what it's called).

As you can see from the pic below, only when the second one is being served that I remembered to take pic (you can notice the banana one beside, which is already devoured half way). :P



Today, went to one of the ex colleague's house warming party. Very nice place they've got there. They really put in a lot of work on renovation of the townhouse. Seeing the current state and comparing it to what it was previously (showed us the picture), there's really a lot of difference.
