My due date!! And Emma is already 10 days old, oh where does the time go!
Things are just amazing right now, My dreams have come true and life is fantastic.Frank is still on Paternity leave until Wednesday, Ryan is now on half term holiday and is just the Best Big Brother ever! He is amazed by the faces Emma pulls, and is horrified/obsessed with the contents of her nappy! WIth there being a big gap in ages, he is able to help out and has fed her independantly which is just lovely to watch :-)

34 days....................
Hiya Folks!!! No I'm not dead!! Just my poor brain cells! Have defo got baby brain, can't concentrate on anything for more than 10 minutes.
Hope all my Bloggy friends are well and Happy wherever you are!
Well as the title suggests I have less than 5 weeks to go! EEK! How on earth am I going to last for the next 4 1/2 weeks!I'm the size of a whale and awful uncomfortable but know it will all be worth it in the end.
Have had 4 scans in total this pregnancy, 3 of them have confirmed we're having a girl, the 1st scan at 10 weeks was far too early to tell anything! So I'm totally thrilled!! At last I get my long awaited daughter!!!
We're all sorted for baby and I've even packed my hospital bag just in case, but thats just wishful thinking!!
We had a lovely family day out to Blackpool on Saturday, probably our last as a family of 3. Enjoyed spending most of the day in Blackpool Tower, walking round the shops and then as night fell, saw the Famous Blackpool Illuminations. Stopped for KFC on the way home, a very good and happy day had by all! I needed all day Sunday to recover from all the walking!
Spending so much time with Ryan just now, just enjoying the time I have alone with him, which will no doubt be in short supply when Jellybean comes along! He's doing great, doing well in school and hoping to start Golf Club in school next week.
He's going to be the best Big Brother ever!
Have been doing some tiny Cross stitch designs this past 2 weeks, although its' taking me ages! So have completed 3 little designs for Christmas cards, they were from a free booklet I got recently with " World of Cross stitching" magazine. Luckily they're pretty quick, am starting on a 4th design today and hoping to get them all mounted by the end of the week.
With me having the attention span of a goldfish at the moment, a larger design is out of the question.
Well Jellybean, who is now more the size of a full size beanbag is squirming away and dancing on my bladder, so off to powder my nose!!
Hope you all are very well
Loadsa Love

29 weeks Bloomin heck!
29 weeks???? Where did that go???
Luckily all is very well so far! Apart from being a walking mountain I'm great! ( I'm sure Frank would disagree, with all the mood swings I've been having this week!)
Things have been pretty hectic and I'm tiring really early in the evenings.
With Ryan being off school we have been doing stuff most days, whether it be local family fun days, days out to the beach, or splashworld, or just to our local park, have managed to get out with him about 5 days out of 7 a week, which is no mean feat given how heavy I am!
( And feeling that Jellybean will escape at any minute I'm carrying so low!)
Have had all kinds of shenanigans as our fire decided to pack in :-(
So have had to buy a new one,pay for fitting and then pay for a chimney sweep to come out! Who knew old fashioned chimney sweeps still existed! I didn't! But alas, before fitting a new fire you need to have a certificae to say you've been swept and inspected!
Unfortunatly we had to have an awful lot of brickwork removed so the new fire will fit in, so to avoid another £200 charge poor frank has been at it all weekend with a hammer and chisel bless him! All done now though, just hope the fitting goes without a hitch tomorrow! Fingers crossed!
Out this afternoon with Mum, then on Wednesday we're taking Ryan to Gullivers World for the day, as we all love it there and its not too far away. Just hoping the rain goes away!

25 1/2 weeks Where is the Time going??
My Goodness only 14 1/2 weeks to go!!
This sure is flying by! Soooo.... Updates.....well...
Firstly I'm off work today but returning tomorrow, we have 3 confirmed cases of Swine Flu in our office ( Which is like a battery hen farm :-( 300 of us in one open plan office) I've taken advice from the GP and Government guidelines are not to worry, unless you have had face to face contact with a confirmed sufferer for at least 1 hour.SO I'm back to work tomorrow, and fingers crossed I don't develop a snout! VERY scary, but theres not a thing I can do :-(
Yesterday I was at the hospital, they confirmed my GTT results were fine so I don't have Gestational diabetes, but they did find some protein in my water sample. I'll be contacted when they've analized it, prob just a urinary infection.
Everything with Babba is fine, good strong heartbeat and I'm being kicked to blazes! However this last week I've been suffering with SPD again, which I had when I was pregnant with Ryan. SPD means that the pelvis splits open too much, usually by about 10 cms! and causes pain down the back of my legs, pelvis and lower back. Apart from taking painkillers, and being offered crutches then theres nothing they can do.
C'est la vie! Who said it would be easy!
We're doing well on the equipment front too, now have a lovely cot, moses basket on a rocking stand, baby swing, high chair, travel system, baby box, change mat, all bedding, blankets and have just started on some bodysuits and babygrows. Still to scared to buy pink and all is neutral or white so far!
Will wait until I get confirmation of the gender, hopefully, at my 34 week scan before I delve into colours!
All is well at home and with Ryan, he is getting really excited about the baby and he's doing very very well in school. He got his school report on Friday, and every single subject he was marked "Outstanding" so we were proud as punch! Took him out for dinner to celebrate the report and bought him a few gifts :-) We are so blessed to have such a good boy!
And so thats it! Just plodding slowly on!
Hope all my friends in Blogland are very well, and apologies for not keeping my blog up to date all the time :-(
Love to you all

24 weeks "V" day!!
So here we are at 24 weeks! Yipee! That means baby is now called a "baby" officially and also is now "Viable" which means the chances of survival if born now have increased significantly :-) Woo hoo! Its flying by!I'm Really happy that, so far, since that first day in February when the blue line showed on the test, I have gained 2lbs!! Yes! Just 2lbs!! I'm such a good girl! Quite a few of my "Bump buddies" due around the same week have already gained 1 1/2 stone - 3 stone! So I feel I'm doing great! The heat hasn't been pleasant at all, However I'm saying a huge thankyou to whoever it was that invented ceiling fans! Been my saviour this last week! All is plodding along normally, feeling tonz of movement and proper kicks all day and night now, Mum felt the kicks on Friday which was a special moment :-) This week I have my Gluecose Tolerence Test, to test for Gestational Diabetes, involves blood tests and a 3 hour wait between tests :-( Good job I have a good book ready!
Yesterday we took a trip out to Otterspool Promenade and Park which was lovely. We took a picnic and the Cricket set, YES folks I do look like a whale, but that didn't stop me playing cricket and scoring runs ( Should that be waddles?!) we had tonz of fun in the sun, however when we hit the newly built "outdoor gym" in the park the Thunder clouds gathered and decided to dump their contents on us! Its still warm here, but its' been raining heavily all day today, such a shame.Good for the plants though!
Wishing you all a lovely week ahead, whatever your plans

Big Belly and Bling!
So I figured how to use Franks camera! Yay!!
This is Bessies' new collar, maybe it would be best that this baby WASN'T a girl! Can you get newborn size Tiara's??!!
And this is Jellybean today, kicking like mad, Ryan felt him/her for the firt time last night which was so cute! He's been feeling my tummy for weeks now waiting to feel something, last night he did! :-) He is going to be the best big Brother ever!

Mojo?? Anyone seen it?!
Hi Folks! As the title suggests, I have lost my Mojo! Sewing terms that is! Have had no inclination at all to pick up the needle lately, I go through phases like this all the time, Have a good sewing spurt then totally can't stand it for a while, Just one of my funny quirks!
Instead of beating myself up over it, or trying to get a project out when I'm not in the mood or just plain too tired, have decided to stick to doing little quick things for the time being, just to keep my hand in so to speak.
So cards and bookmarks here we come! Handy that I can stock up on these for future Birthdays, as come October, I doubt I'll be having much time for stitching!
So heres what I did today.....
Its my Friends' Birthday in September and she's a bookworm just like me, and she appreciates my handmade bookmarks, so getting started early!
Unfortunatly my trusty camera has finally decided to die on me! Its' hit and miss whether it actually turns on at all now, and also the auto focus has gone it it altogether. I seem to be able to take very close up pictures like those above, but anything further away is totally blurred, like I've smeared vasaline all over the lens. I'm usually clicking aay like mad so its' like my arm has been cut off, being without a camera!
Will have to see if I can figure out how to use Franks.
All is going well here, Ryan was awarded Student of the week on Friday for his written work being to year 6 standard (He's in year 3) so proud as punch of him!
Baby wise I'm now 22 weeks along and getting kicked to blazes! Someone has DEFINITLY found out how to use their legs!
So cute though and I'm loving that feeling!
Its a relief to be past the halfway stage, feeling fit and well and (fingers crossed) no problems! Also have had my weight checked, and despite having quite a bump now, have only put on 1 lb since Februaury when we very first found out I was just 3 weeks pregnant! And I'm craving melon! All shapes and sizes! Weird huh! At least its' a healthy craving, and not like my cousin who ate Jars and Jars of Vaseline!! EEWWWWWWWW!!
Hope all you Dads out there are enjoying Fathers Day! And Happy Fathers day to Frank who is the best Dad in the World, hey I'm biased I know!
Lots of Love

Couldn't resist!
Saw this yesterday and just couldn't resist! I'm still too scared to be buying pink yet!
Have cleared babies wardrobe all ready and have made space for the cot, also bought a dining table and chairs today and we're generally just having a good old sort and clear out. Have visited the tip 3 times in 2 days so far!! Does the soul good to have a good sort out :-)
21 weeks tomorrow!

Is it a skeleton then??
Is what Ryan said upon seeing the scan picture!
And yep she certainly looks like a skeleton! If you look where the head is there is a large forhead bit then eyes, nose and mouth. The legs were bent and knees up by the abdomen.
Hope you can see OK! Did my best to label.

And the flavour is..................
Well not 100% sure but had a wonderful 20 week scan!
Baby was unbelievably wriggly!!! BUT The sonographer saw no boy bits at all and did see the tell tale " 3 white lines" albeit faint ones so she said we were looking at probably a female feotus!!! YAY!!! Team pink!!
I really really wanted a girl this time round so am thrilled although not being 100% I doubt I'll be buying any pink just yet!
I have another scan at 34 weeks so will have to wait and see what happens then, although they don't look to sex the baby at the 34 weeks scan routinely. But if its obvious....
We saw babys face so clearly this time and everything is just perfect! at the moment I'm more on a high about the actual scan itself than the gender!
Just made up that all is well and I defo have a Jumping bean rather than a Jellybean!!
A thrilled and Giddy

I'm halfway there!!
18 weeks
Today! 19 weeks 3 days ( yes that is my nightie!! Its 6.45am!)
Nealy halfway there!! Woo hoo!! By my dates I'm 20 weeks tomorrow, by the last scan prediction I'm 20 weeks on Sunday so a big relief to get to the halfway mark!
Am definitly feeling (and looking!) like a baby is in there now.
All is going well in my pregnancy, Feeling quite good, although I've put on 8lbs :-( Need to be careful not to gain too much weight with being overweight already :-(
But we're fine, I'm now feeling little kicks, just gentle ones like being gently flicked from inside my tummy, I just love it! Next Tuesday we have our 20 week scan, and are able to find out whether Jellybean is pink or blue (if he/she is lying in the right position!) I'm so excited!
Have also made a few purchases, I don't want to go too mad just yet until we know the gender.
So far we have got...
An Avent microwave sterliser
4 Moses basket sheets
Full Graco travel system inc. Stroller, Carseat, carseat base, cosytoes, winter apron for stroller, changing bag and raincover.
Its been great having a fiddle with the stroller and carseat, just made it all more real! And Ryan has loved pushing it up and down the living room! Its up in our attic room just now out of the way, but I just love it!Not a trendy brightly coloured 3 wheeler, but much more me! We had a graco stroller for Ryan so I trust the brand and find it easy to use. ( Was also a bargain off ebay!)
Roll on Tuesday......................

Boys will be boys!
Yes I'm still alive!!!
Ryan is off for 2 weeks half term at the moment and I've been out every day keeping him amused, This then results in me being shattered with attractive elephant ankles in the evenings!!
But hey what FANTASTIC weather we are having!!!! what a shame its forecast to take a turn for the worse from today :-( Oh well I'm still grateful for all the lovely sun!
We have had some smashing days out, our best being "Gullivers World" which is a theme park designed for younger kids. Frank gets to ride the rollercoasters and scarier rides with Ryan, while I get to do the Teacups and all the spinning rides which I like :-) ( Frank can't even LOOK at a waltzer without feeling sick!!)
We've also been to our fave Country Park in Eastham, Liverpools' Annual Military show, Sefton Park, Derby park and Rhyl. Unfortunatly my camera is playing up so I haven't got many pics to share. It was bleeping at me with a "lens cover on" error message for about 1 week, and now its letting me take pics but they are all blurry GRRRRRR!!!!! Mind you, I have had it for about 10 years!!
Here are the boys ( Ryan and his Friend Liam) returning from the Military show.Liam lives at the end of our Road and is Ryans regular playmate. They had been doing assault courses with the Royal Marines! ( Ryan is in the hat!)

**Update**
Just thought I'd updte you guys as had a dash to the EPU ER this morning.
Following my terrible bout of food poisoning on Saturday I'm still getting cramping pains and my tummy is very very tender, rang the Midwife unit this am just to get some advice and the Midwife said to go straight to the EPU ER ( Early pregnancy Unit ER) Which is in the City Centre, to see if they could detect a heartbeat.
As you can imagine, this freaked me out a little, and although I wasn't too worried before, I cetainly became worried as soon as she said that!
To cut a long story short it showed in the tests they took today that I've had/got gastroenteritis and my stomach muscles are contracting in response to this.Thankfully, she did detect a perfect galloping, and very loud heartbeat straight away so I'm very very relieved! And also Thrilled I've heard Jellybean at last!!
Not good I'm still having weird contractions, but its worth it just to hear my baby for a few seconds!
Just hope it all settles down now!
Have a lovely day

Happy Birthday Ryan!!!
Yesterday (16th) was Ryans' 8th Birthday!!
Happy Birthday to my Fabulous son!
We've had an eventful few days and he's had a lovely birthday :-)
Sadly, he didn't have such a good day on Friday! We were honoured to learn that he had been picked for the Inter schools Junior Golf tournament, we found out on Tuesday last week and he could barely contain his excitement until Friday.
HOWEVER..........
On Friday, the day of the OUTDOOR tournament, it rained, BOY did it rain! And sadly it was called off, so I had one totally devastated little boy on my hands! He sobbed and sobbed bless him. I'm hoping they will set another date, but not heard anything yet.Fingers crosed.
Ryan had a great Birthday, on Saturday we picked up his best friend from school, Thomas, and took the boys bowling, they had a blast! They played with Frank and did really, really well for two 8 year olds! I didn't play, with having RSI in my thumb, didn't want to kick it off again!
After the bowling Alley we took them to McD's, and then back to our house where they played in Ryans' room, on the Xbox, ate Pizza and Birthday cake later on and finally Thomas went home at 8.30pm.
Unfortunatly, I had a terrible, and scary bout of what I think was food poisoning. I was doubled over with pains in my tummy and lets just say whatever I had inside, was evacuated quite explosively, from both ends! eeewww I was quite scared at the amount of pain, and did consider that I had gone into early labour ( Yes it WAS that bad!)
Thankfully, after a good rest and an early night I'm OK today, Phew!
So today, as part of Ryans Birthday present, we had booked him a lesson at the driving range with a Golf Professional. He did great and really really enjoyed the lesson, the Pro said he has a fatastic Golf swing but needs to work and his hips and stance a little!
He'll have another lesson in about 2-3 weeks time.
So that was it, our weekend.
Back to work tomorrow, and just for a change, I'm actually looking forward to it! Having a good time at work just now and enjoying being a busy bee in my normal routine!
Hope you all have had a nice weekend!

16 + 2
WARNING!!! WARNING!!!!!
BELLY PICS!!!!!!
Hi Guys! Hope all is well with my Blogland Friends!
All is well here, feeling fine and well, although now I'm back at work I'm totally wiped out by 8.30pm every night! Think thats pretty normal though!
Can't believe I'm 16+2 already, time is sure flying by!
Had my Midwife appointment last Thursday, was really dissapointed that she refused to listen to Jellybeans heartbeat, said that its' their practice not to listen in until after 25 weeks! I was gutted! She checked my urine and Blood pressure and I was sent packing!
As my first scan was 10 weeks, and my 2nd will be at 20 weeks, I have no way of knowing if everything is OK. Would have liked that little bit of reassurance.Roll on June 9th!
On the plus side, I've convinced Frank to find out whether we're having a pink or blue Jellybean! Yippee!!
Here are some scary Belly pics! Sorry if they gross you out!

Baby Wipes!
For those who have been asking, I have absolutely no idea why I use baby wipes to clean with! I saw a programme years ago about people who were obsessed with cleaning, and one lady used a pack of baby wipes a day! It just kinda stuck in my head!
Let me add at this point, I AM NOT obsessed with cleaning! (I wish!) and just find that the dust sticks to the wipes easy with them being damp (I have athsma)no other reason apart from I can throw them all straight in the bin and be done!
OK so I'm a little weird!

Rhyl
Yesterday (Sunday) we had a lovely family day out in Wales. We went to Rhyl and as usual spent an absolute fortune on the Penny falls in the arcades, Mini Golf, Kiddie rides etc etc! Had a fantastic day was lovely to get away to the seaside and have a picnic watching the waves! Luckily we had no rain and the sun kept us company all day. We ate far too many pic'n'mix' sweets had KFC for Dinner and fell asleep, drooling, on the way home!! Bliss!!
Today Frank finished the last of the bathroom bts and bobs, and I scoured the house like the Queen was about to visit!Went through 2 whole packs of Baby wipes!( I always use baby wipes to clean with!) Looking forward to "Ashes to Ashes" on TV later and having a relax as I'm starting to ache now. Tomorrow I'm seeing the consultant in the hospital over my thyroid levels and also having the "triple Test" done, where they test for the likelihood of Downs Syndrome etc. Then work straight after :-(
Also am seeing my Midwife on Thursday, and hoping to hear Jellybeans Heartbeat!
Hope you have all had a relaxing Bank holiday!
15 Weeks today!
Love Wendy ( & Jellybean!)

Busy Busy and a Beatle!!
Thought I'd gone??? Things are a bit up the wall here just now!
I've been working full time this week as I have been on a course for 3 days and had to do loooonnnngggg hours :-( (I normally only work until lunchtime so it hit me hard!) 8 hours of CBT a day, kinda left me brain dead! And I've been in bed by 9pm every night!
Yesterday I was back at the hospital for more blood tests, the novelty is seriously wearing off now! Its' not even baby related, Its my thyroid function they're testing all the time. I'm also back again on Tuesday for the triple test ( for Downs Syndrome) and to see my thyroid consultant. Then on Thursday I see my Midwife.
I just feel I'm constantly being prodded and poked! Despite that side of it, I'm feeling very well, Been told by various people this week that I'm "Blooming" I just feel huge!!
My appetite has returned with a venegance! Gonna have to reign myself in eating wise, been a right pig this week!
Have started a small project that I can just sew at my own pace, with all thats going on at the moment, sewing just isn't a priority anymore but am doing little bits when I can. My Cousin Shan is a John Lennon fan, so this is for her :-)
Hope you all have a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend !

Little Finish and Big Frustration!
Managed to get this little fairy stitched over the last 2 days, have also sorted threads for my next project which I'm looking forward to as it has NO backstitch!!
Will do some backstitch on my Lighthouse tomorrow, so it hasn't been totally abandoned!
Yippee!
Had quite a frustarting day today. I'm due to goto the hospital to have blood taken next Tuesday. I can't go next Tuesday as I am on a course in work 7.30-5pm Mon- Wed, so in my wisdom decided to ring the hospital this am to enquire whether the antenatal blood room was open on a Friday. I was told it was, as the clinic was open 8.30 - 10.30pm. As it was 9.30am when I got through, I jumped in a taxi and headed straight to the hospital to get the tests over and done with.
On arrival ( And after paying £7 in a taxi ) The receptionist told me that although there is a clinic on a Friday, there is no Plebotomist so blood tests can't be done.
I was MEGA pee'd off! Had to then pay another £1.60 to get home, so no blood test, out of pocket and booked 1/2 a days leave from work. GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
SO they can stick their blood test! Its' only a thyroid test, nothing to do with the baby, so am not worried.
Am off to Mothercare this afternoon with my Mum, Have to take a Microwave Steriliser unit back ( Its that big, you would need a Microwave the size of a house to get it in!) and we're looking at a travel system I have my eye on. This will be my first baby shopping trip! EEK! Technically not buying anything, but having a bloody good look!
Have a great weekend Guys and hope your corner of the world is Sunny and bright this weekend :-)
