An Ice Cream Photo Shoot

I grabbed my camera tonight as Grace was eating a bowl of ice cream. She just looked so sweet. I must have taken 30 pictures and the majority were blurry from her NON STOP movement! Taking her picture is still quite the challenge.

Such a pretty girl

Getting a little silly :)

These last two pictures didn't happen easily. Stern voices had to be used :) I was determined to get one of her sitting still and smiling. I just wish her tongue was in her mouth. When Grace says "cheese" her tongue pops out on the "s" sound :)

Wunderly Christmas 2011

This past weekend we went to Brad's parents' house for an early Christmas! We all had a wonderful time! The kids got spoiled with gifts and treats, just the way they like it. It was a nice way to start off the holidays!

Mom mom had this ornament made last year for Grace and gave it to us on Christmas Day. I love it! It felt so nice to put it on the tree this year :)

One for the Memory Book

Potty Talk!
When Grace poops in her diaper, we sometimes call it a tail. Sorry, but it does look like she has one:) She has lately been proudly announcing when she has a "fairy tale".

Grace: (While walking around with my basting brush) "I'm painting my fairy tale butt."
Aidan: "What comes out of your butt? (not a very appropriate question. Aidan was waiting for her to say "fairy tales")
Grace: "fire" (while we are all dying of laughter) "smoke!"
Aidan: " What else comes out of your butt?"
Grace: "chipmunks!"
This went on for way too long. Let's just say pretty much anything and everything can come out of her butt:)

Another one...

Me: What should we do tomorrow? Should we go to the gym?
Grace: No, thank you. I want to go to Disney World.

Family Pictures 2011

Well, here they are! I didn't want to post these until my Christmas cards were mailed. They turned out so nice! This is just a sampling since there were close to 200 pictures!

Please Touch Museum

Long time, no post :( I've been a bad blogger. Too busy with holiday stuff I guess...

A couple weeks ago, Brad and I dropped the boys off at my parents' house and we took Grace to the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. We had such a great time! Grace loved it and didn't get in trouble once for "touching" things :) The most amazing part was the fact that she ran and played for 2 1/2 hours straight. Then we had an hour ride home, which was past her nap time and she STILL didn't fall asleep! She is used to taking 2-3 hour nap every day. She does not fall asleep easily in the car. I don't know how she does it. Both Brad and I were ready for a nap :)

Grace has her map and is ready to go....

Grace loved this ball activity. She had to put the balls over forced air and watch them linger in the air.
Image
I wish I captured her expression here. She was amazed!

Getting her OT in for the day in the giant hamster wheel :)
Image
Grace loved this! She would first put a foam rocket on a tube, hit the big button and BLAST OFF! She actually did a great job at waiting her turn because this rocket launcher was a big hit with everyone! I love her expression in this picture!
Image
This is the grocery store. I LOVED this exhibit! It was too cute. All the kids were putting EVERYTHING in their carts even as stuff was spilling over. It was so funny! What the kids don't realize is that after you check out, you need to put away all your groceries for the next shoppers.

Grace has got her cart.

And she is off....

Hmmmm, what to choose?

Checking out....

I wish I got a better picture of the "hospital". It was suppose to be a nursery area with lots of cribs and babies, but looked more like a underfunded orphanage, complete with "boy" babies. Yes, there were boy parts!
Image
One of Grace's favorites was the waterway exhibit. It was so cool! There were boats, ducks, spouts and more to play with.
Image
This is to show you how big the water area was. And this is less than half of the exhibit!!!

I was HORRIBLE at taking pictures on Thanksgiving. I took a couple with my phone but this is the only one worth showing from my camera. We did have a wonderful time! Food was great and we really enjoyed visiting with Mimi, Poppie, Aunt Amy and Uncle Rob. Here are the boys enjoying their Mimi's famous Root Beer Floats. She makes these for them every time we visit :)
