+ Updated 2026 College Head Coaches and Home Ballparks for all college divisions. Includes NCAA D1,D2,D3, the NAIA, the NJCAA (Junior College) and the 2 west coast JUCO conferences. NWAC (Northwest) and CCCAA (California).

+ The TBC Card store has 2400+ card listings now. I add 20-30 cards a day and though most cards are considered low-end, all the big names are in there. Griffin, McGonigle, Made, Ohtani, De La Cruz, Judge, Skenes, etc.

> I'm working in the car. Its dark. I'm using the charger now. We're in Georgia. We are past Savannah, our travel nemesis. Nobody got sick at Denny's. There was no traffic. We're on the outskirts of Brunswick, Georgia. It's foggy. It smells like sewer. Swamp maybe. It's spitting rain. We're hungry. We need gas. We need to use the restrooms. We stop at Buc-ee's for the first time.

I love gas stations. As we travel to watch our daughter play softball throughout the US and Canada, I have started to notice a trend that didn't exist in recent years. Gas stations are dressing better. They're getting bigger. They're getting nicer. The restrooms are getting better. Their food is getting better. They have brick pillars sometimes. They have crazy architecture. They are clean. They are attractive. They are dateable.

Even with more than 100 gas pumps, to call Buc-ee's a gas station doesn't seem fair. It's more. It's a rest stop. But even a rest stop only has 6-8 pumps. It's more than a rest stop. On this foggy, rainy, smelly night, it was more than just clean bathrooms and a gas station. It was an experience. To say a gas station was an experience, well, I mean, who says that?

Buc-ee's is large. Everything is large. It's bright. It's clean. It feels safe. It feels warm. It feels like a Disney store on the highway. Buc-ee's branded stuff everywhere. Food everywhere. Snacks everywhere. The bathrooms had red/green lights above each stall. There were stacks of hot sandwiches under heat lamps. Fountain drinks across the wall. Rows of chips. And did I mention it was bright and clean?

We watched a lot of softball. We went to Universal's Epic Universe and we ate at some nice restaurants. We bought Lego and baseball cards in almost every state we passed through. But Buc-ee's doesn't fall into any other category and so it gets its own post.

Now we're in the car. Eating a brisket sandwich. Drinking fountain lemonade. Eating Buc-ee's branded chips. In the dark. In the fog. In the rain. It still smells like swamp.

m back. I was gone. I was on vacation. I was watching softball. I was at the University of Tampa. I was at Saint Leo University. I was at Embry-Riddle University.

I followed my daughter into your country. Into the US. I will write about the trip in the coming days and maybe weeks. There are moments that I am anxious to write about.

We drove. We visited Targets. We ate at restaurants. We went to Epic Universe at Universal. We stayed at 6 different hotels and watched 9 softball games. The car was full of Lego, Owalas and Topps baseball cards.

We had a good time. I think. It was hectic. It was a lot of driving. A lot of stress watching the games. Little downtime.
I worked in the car and I worked in the hotels. But not that much. Not enough to finish a project.
I worked primarily on the 2026 college stats, slowly moving that process forward.

+ 2026 MLB Coaching Staffs are updated. Field staffs. They seem to be growing each year. Assistant Hitting Coaches. Assistants to the Assistant Hitting Coaches.Assistants to the Regional Manager. Assistants to Travelling Secretary. And on it goes.

+ Thanks to "DM" for his custom purchase of 2025 College Baseball game Results. Not an official data store product yet but if you don't ask, you won't know for sure if we have it!

> We're heading on an adventure soon. My laptop's first foray into the world outside of these walls. And Costco's. And I suppose HP's. The computer company. Not the sauce. We're heading on a softball adventure. A baseball card adventure. A Lego adventure. The kind of adventure only nerdy sorta empty nesters could pull off. Stuff will happen. Thoughts will come up. I will write about them.

+ Spring Training is underway in Arizona and Florida. The Olympics are over. The Super Bowl is done. We can now focus on baseball. Did you hear me? FOCUS ON BASEBALL!

I get a lot of questions about Spring Training Statistics and the answer is that although I do track historical Spring stats, I don't include them in the Tracker or anywhere on the site. I'd like to. Maybe I will. I will try. But don't make me commit.

+ Historical service time for players active in 2015 was added. What does this mean? If a player played in 2015, I added all prior yearly Service Time values for him. Or her. But usually a him. No sexism intended. You can purchase historical yearly service time values if you want from the Data Store.

+ 2026 College Baseball Statistics are streaming on the site. Most D1 schools are now live. Many non-D1 schools also have their stats available although not all players are bridged to a player page yet. D1 is the priority and so as new players make their first appearance, they'll be linked. For other schools, I add a few hundred a day so it may take some time for all players to have their own page but they will.

+ The Tracker had a little upgrade. Before: You could only see current year season stats for PRO and College plaeyrs. Now: You can now select a recent season to view that season's stats for your players.

+ Also remember I added the ability to add Player Notes for TBC PREMIUM Subscibers?

+ The TBC Card Store has more than 1900+ listings. I got Kurtz and Ohtani and Yamamoto and McGonigle and De La Cruz. And of course, much much more!

> Winter is kicking my butt this year. The snow is 7 feet high. It snows every 2nd day and doesn't get warm enough to melt. The month-long cold snap has ended. Yeah you're in Canada(you say this part) this is what you get (also this part). But Noooooo. This is NOT what we normally get. I mean I can barely walk out of my igloo. (You think that part)

> I bought a new laptop. The keyboard is amazing. I bought a new mouse. The texture on the mouse is very ADHD friendly. The computer has a number pad. It has arrow buttons. It has a CTRL button where a CTRL button should be. It has a Home button, an End button Page up and Page down. It has a delete button. It has a touch-screen although I haven't quite figured out how to incorporate that into my flow. Sometimes I just touch it because I can. My wife says Noooooo. Don't touch it. It will get greasy and messy. But I still touch it.

A listing of transactions in the TBC Transactions database for Tommy John surgeries. The list includes only Major Leaguers.

This list is updated as the database gets updated. Although the list is MLBers only, surgeries while in the minors are included.

Please do not take this as a complete, accurate listing of all TJ Surgeries but instead, as a reflection of the TBC database's current state. The database is in constant flux. Although MLB injuries are often accurately reported, players having the surgery in the minors may not have it reported in the database as TJ Surgery, but rather as a generic injury.

+ Making progress. More than 200 schools now loading for D1 with hundreds of others loading for other divisions. Players are being bridged and the daily Tracker email is now running. Apologies if you track Major Leaguers and you're getting an empty daily tracker. Maybe follow some college players? Maybe a Roch Cholowsky? A Drew Burress? Maybe a freshman like Kade Elam?

Speaking of college stats, the Tracker will show you the player's season stats, as of recent load. It won't show you how the player did yesterday, like the MLB/Minor League tracker does. Just keep that in your head.

This is one of the most complex yearly processes for TBC so please be patient.

+ Still on the fence about TBC PREMIUM? Did you know you can now add your own personal player notes for each player from their page? They'll show up, if you're logged in, when you go that player page. You can also view all your notes on 1 page.

+ Quick update to let you know that we're working on including up-to-date stats for all 2026 college baseball programs. If a school is missing its 2026 stats, rest assured we're working on it and hope to have the system working within a week or 2, with plenty of time left in the College Baseball season to track your favorite players and teams!
